All music can be inspiring for the right person, at the right time - But, for me this kinda thing is totally awe-inspiring. Strangers from all over the world coming together with one objective - to make great music.

or for the more theatrical version!
I've always loved this song, it just makes me want to get up and dance everytime I hear it.
@DogsLife Man... Love this song! The listener can take this song in their own light and go with it. I listen to Brokedown Palace, a very similar song to Black Muddy River... quite a bit when I get in "That" mood... I forgot how great BMR is... thanks for sharing...Strangers Stopping Strangers, Just to Shake Their Hand...
I totally agree DemandingFemale... Playing for change is a fantastic idea. People playing or singing from all around the world to bring it all together in a song. Ripple has always been one of my favorites to play or listen to...
@deadheadmark I love Ripple! Great to see David Crosby involved, too. Big fan of his, saw him live with CSN and during the Crosby/Nash UK tour.
I don't think the euphoric feeling you get making music with others can be matched by much in this world.
From the soundtrack of Garden State
Colin Hay - I just don't think I'll ever get over you
Xavier Rudd a singer songwriter multi-instrumentalist from Australia. A lot of his songs incorporate socially awareness themes as spirituality, environmentalism, humanity and the rights for indigenous tribes...

@DemandingFemale Much better sound (in my opinion). Thanks very much for sharing and educating me! :)
@ These are a few years old now, but I still haven't tired of listening to them. They've done several covers as well as some originals - and they've inspired a whole wave of Dirty Loops style covers from other bands.
@DemandingFemale They do them better and in all honesty to call them "covers" isn't giving them credit, where it's due, for actually bringing talent to these songs. Thanks again!
@DemandingFemale Excellent use of that word. I'm stealing it's intent for future use, thank you! :)
These songs are truly timeless. I play this sara and dreams all the time.
Fleetwood Mac - Rhiannon
Curtis Mayfield - Move On Up
The voice, the bongos, the horns section, that sax - the groove
