@ I know it's not a dance song, but I've never seen anyone else pour their heart into their music like that.

@bondojoe She was her music.

Beautiful, tortured soul.

Still a "funk master" in my opinion.

Who could not be riveted and enthralled with her passion?

Excellent choice.👍

This is from a film called Sing Street. Set in 1980s Ireland. High-school kid start a band to impress a girl. It's much better than it sounds, and especially nice if you like the different pop sounds of the 80s.

This one is like Japan meets Duran Duran. Someone on YouTube extended it. I think it's awesome!

You can watch the movie here - dosmovies.com/watch_movie/Sing_Street....

From the film 500 days of summer, our hero celebrates the act with the neighbourhood and a little Hall & Oates ...

@..box.. My partner loves H&A. He calls 80s music "positive" ... He's right. 80s music had/has something that other years doesn't in terms of positivity, even when the songs themselves were sad.

@Lurkio Experience is one of my desert island discs. What a great album, and brings back a lot of greater memories.

Saw them live in '92. Buzzing!

@purpleplum I actually love a lot of music in other languages.

Japanese / Chinese bands are super cool.
