Slightly harder word game ~ Part 4.44 (8848 views, 1646 replies)
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwlll lantysiliogogogoch = A village in Anglesey in North Wales, known for having the longest place name in the United Kingdom.
@18635fdgd We had some 3-letter words before, not recently, and used the middle letter for the first and last letter of the new word.
@18635fdgd Oh, Myriam De Urquijo.
I can't find any word in the English language Y...J.
@CollideDuhScope Buttles Enormous? thank you for saying so. And we must wake up, what are you doing Nasos.
So,a word E...A.
What springs to mind?? Ah, enema.
@Buttless I got confused a bit, I was thinking of Empanadas... perhaps Collide had/is blocked from Box, I Will type the rules here once more, for people that want to play:
---------------------------
Usin g the previous word, start a new word with the second letter, then end your word with the next to last letter.
For Example:
Previous Word = rUbbiSh
New word = UniteS
Previous Word = wAr
New word = ArmadA
In the event a word cannot be found, defer back to the previous word.

@18635fdgd if i read the rules right ( and i only just started to join in ) your play.
Should be A and I i think
@Stickmanuk A-nunnak-i , the next for example would play for N .... k . If he play something like N-euroti-c, the next goes for E....i and so on....
Please join, it's fun, helps the brain cells
@18635fdgd Hmmm a bit racist acronym, perhaps? Sometimes racism is very casual. Just saying... thanks for the contribution.
@DontSpeak This is how the creators of the Utube channel named their channel hehe. I bet they are feeling ok with that, even when they been called so by someone in malicious tone.
@Buttless www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIcPdnOr...
Pulcheria.... sounds a cutie but very off sex I feel, this chick ahahahhaha
@18635fdgd I see you put Zenaida a few days ago, Saint Zenaida was one of the early martyrs and a healer.
But I never understood why virginity was necessary.
@18635fdgd OK it's more complicated if someone needs to give a scientific explanation about the morality the ages when monotheistic religions were founding themselves , each one but for now I guess i gave a decent explanation
@18635fdgd Pro comfort? This suggests there are novices and pros in the menstruation event. lol
@18635fdgd When this happens, is reversing the letters allowed? Begins with v and ends with a?
@DontSpeak Must ask the creator -inventor of the game if it's allowed hehehhe. Mr Boxie. I could type some company name or abbreviation, but I am tired of cheating this way, leaving space for better words
@DontSpeak Onan (the picture) from Biblical names is not at all Onanist. It means [SPOILER] Onanist is not this haha well done.
@18635fdgd CGI is wonderful. If you are out in big waves you are trying to hold on, not hold a camera.
@Buttless I am usually on small boats around 4-6 meters, riding the front like a cowboy and holding a small fishing pole. After 4-5 hours I am so dizzy I even think I am in the sea while showering in my house. If i was in a storm like this, I bet I will be throwing 5-10 times till over, no matter how long I fish in boats.
@18635fdgd that's all i can say coz I can't play something from o to u ahahhha. Perhaps some Japanese name if i google
OGPU [SPOILER]
The Joint State Political Directorate (OGPU; Russian: Объединённое государственное политическое управление) was the intelligence service and secret police of the Soviet Union from 1923 to 1934.. The OGPU was formed from the State Political Directorate of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic
@DontSpeak Sorry, not being rude, I don't usually click on that. We used to have downvotes here also (maybe before you came) which got horribly mis-used by the 'gang of four' with multiple IDs. Sometimes I got -25 !
@DontSpeak Some of my older film reviews still have negative likes but show 0 since Doc changed it a couple of years ago. It would take many +1 votes before the negatives are cancelled. There used to be some crazies, one of them is still here but blocks me, can't remember why.
@DontSpeak This sort of site attracts all sorts of idiots and crazies, JD has done well to clean it up.
But I miss some of the people who were driven away by trolls, like Delamitri who started these games.
@18635fdgd Have you ever seen the one with Julia Roberts? It scares me simply because her mouth really is [close to being] that big! lol
@18635fdgd She seems to be glancing away, and unafraid. Perhaps it's a courting ritual and he's just displaying his "big knife"? lol
@18635fdgd The one on the right was on the alter above this post. You see? She's quite alright! 😉😉😉
@18635fdgd It took a lot of study to select it. I think the shy one at the back is winking at me.
@DontSpeak I wouldn't agree with this definition, more likely I'd agree with the Cambridge definition :talk or behavior that is boastful (= praising yourself too much) or exaggerated (= making something seem bigger or more important than it really is)
The reason is because, despite I don't find this written somewhere, probably the word is a derivation from the Greek word "Rodamos" Ροδαμός, Ancient word for a new branch of tree, in general something that flourishes. It was used by Virgilio the Italian also to describe the youth, it's urge to get off and enjoy. I find impressive philosophical connection with the temper of youth and it's characteristics, so I'd probably use this word as the ancient ppl were using it, in poetry and metaphorically in literature and not for example for a stupid person bragging about his limousine. Just thinking loud, if my words don't make sense please ignore them hahahahhha
@18635fdgd It makes sense. 😊
That's exactly what vainglorious boasting is. Their word choice is more concise [for the sake of brevity].
@DontSpeak It looks real, not photoshopped. Clever bit of screen-printing and photography, I think.
Could you see yourself wearing it?
@DontSpeak the sketched image above is superb! Thanks. It really makes sense and reminds of such people
@DontSpeak "or intentions to non-human entities"
That's exactly whats in my picture , a non hooman entity
@DontSpeak "O Covetousness, that mortals dost ingulf Beneath thee so, that no one hath the power Of drawing back his eyes from out thy waves!"
Dante's Proviso.
The sort of thing I say every day!
@Buttless Why did you even get involved and quote Internet dictionaries?
I have a literal 10,000 page dictionary that says it's an "incorrect" spelling, and as far as other Internet references they vary feom incorrect to archaic.
So, why?
It's not your thread and she ASKED me to be here by PM, so I contributed.
It's not personal.
The entomology doesn't line up.
Butt out
@DontSpeak English is my native language and I am fluent in several dialects also.
As a bastardised (etymologically speaking) language there is no 'correct' English in the same way Germany has government-approved Standardhochdeutsch, we merely have standard BBC English and thousands of variations which are not incorrect, just different.
And English common-law rights allow me to put my butt anywhere I want.
. (_!_)
@Buttless Really? Well you know ZERO about entomology. So your "native" language is useless in a discourse.
We already know this
Big kiss little minion. You did not chose wisely.
Your buttless obsession with a Swede is smelly.
Like being obtuse about a spelling.
Fart. You smell.
@DontSpeak You're right, I don't know much about entomology [SPOILER] ..
But etymology [SPOILER] .... yes that is up my street.
And my farts smell like roses.
@DontSpeak Oh wait....FO! You and your Swede making minion lover. Xxx
Who called me a cheater in PMs ... love you, kiss kiss -- your butt-less
@☂️Suisen🌂 It is one of those words to slip into a conversation and people think 'WHAT did he just say?'
This needs a new thread. It's way too long.
The proper American spelling of odor doesn't have a U so I don't think any d word ends with a U so I'll use an O.
Dingo
@☂️Suisen🌂 a gold-coloured alloy of copper, zinc, and tin used in decorating furniture and making ornaments. The term originally referred to a process in which powdered gold was mixed with mercury and used to gild metal, a technique that was banned in the 19th century on account of its toxicity.
@☂️Suisen🌂 An Australian will say Vegemite is the real thing and anything else is a weak imitation.
British people say the opposite.
I try to avoid controversy so will say nothing!
@☂️Suisen🌂 Okay in British English (=female canine), ignore the crude Americans who make bad words from everything!
@Judge_Cannon again, if you dont find a word, go back to previous
but there are 8 starting with X ending with N
