Cats Pigeons (640 views, 12 replies)
MMM NO. There is no such thing as a domestic cat of any size. They are lazy and apex hunters. Just like wolves they are territorial. And will share their catch with the top food supplier. i.e. The one that feeds them the most. If your neighbour feeds it better don't be expecting a furry lap warmer.

At one point we had a whack of cats due to one randy she cat. the rest of the village had a fair mix of cats n dogs. Strange, but they did not bother each other. Even then I don't remember a single pigeon ever being caught. One cat brought back a greater black backed gull. If you know anything about birds. That is a BIG bird. As you would imagine, there were also a whole heap of four legged furry critters left as 'presents'.
For centuries pigeons/doves were bred as food. Do cats just not want to share such a tasty bite?
