Let me tell you a story.
About two months ago my Son came home at midnight on a very rainy night and found a little drenched cat sat on our doorstep.
I did a little digging around on some local FB lost pet groups, only to discover that this cat had been roaming our area for a couple of weeks. Others had posted that they had had her in their houses for odd nights but she had wanted to leave in the morning so thinking she had her home had let her go.
I made contact with a lady who runs the rescue behind one of these groups, she told me that this cat was known to have come from a house that is notorious for keeping cats, dogs and rabbits that are allowed to breed at random for profit.
Urghhhhhh. The rescue people had been out looking for this cat with no luck for a while, as I life-long cat lady I think fate brought her to us, because she didn't want to leave my house. And knowing her story decision made - she was staying forever.
And her name is Amber.
At first I thought she was about 6 months old, she was skin and bone, but as she gained weight it was apparent she was more like 9 months.

Awwww...she looks a lot like my cat. She had kittens too. Only 3 lived out of 5. One all black, one black and tan with a half black half tan face (we called him two-face), and one white with black paws and ears that looked just like a Siamese. It's strange bc my cat looks nothing like a Siamese but she must have some in her or maybe the daddy was. Luckily we found homes for all of them and then got her fixed.

They are adorable. Enjoy your fur grandbabies. Keep us updated with pics. I love kittens. smiley

@rickgrimesrocks I also have a full Siamese and an Oriental (pure black Siamese), but in the past had another pregnant rescue that - although she was also a tortie - was apparently 1/4 Siamese. She had 7, as a breed they are known to have bigger litters, but two of those 7 looked full Siamese! Obviously a strong gene. Amber will be fixed asap too.

Wonderful story and a happy ending. You'll have your hands full with all the guests. You obviously have the knack with our feline friend and a single mother. Hopefully everything turns out for you and the new member of the family.

So fed with my rubbish attempts at photography - had a friend visit today who is a professional.
Kittens are now 9 days old and starting to open their eyes.

A few more that I took. Going to have to move them from their current spot soon, eyes are opening and they will want to explore. Not sure how Mum will react, twice now I've moved them so I can change the bedding and each time she tried to take them back in the wardrobe before I was done. Could be interesting....

Gosh, they are so adorable! They remind me a lot of my cat's kittens, especially the one with the two colored face. Makes me miss them. I'm so happy for you!! smiley

@rickgrimesrocks She almost looks like a chimera cat - her human came and chose her today, happy she is going to a friend as I will get to watch her grow. Kittens are the best!!

@⭐️janerosity⭐️ Wishful, they are so lovely and we had a ginger male for 20 years whom we adored. My cat George is quite a jealous boy so we are looking to adopt older cats providing they all get on :)
