I did not see one so I decide to start this thread,

Post a photo und story of your Katzen 💗.

I am fortunate to be surrounded by two cats, two dogs und two rabbits but I will post only about one of them or this would be very lengthy post.

After losing my twenty year old cat, she passed in my arms while I hold her paw, kiss her then tell her how much I love and also will miss her, it hurt more than anything before because she had been my everything.

After the grief was not as painful I visit a cat rescue which is where I met Aster, she was the only kitten sitting away from the others, she was not playing or noisy but she would not stop staring at me so I went to see her - she curled het paw around my finger which is the moment I knew she’d chosen me or I like to believe that she did this.

I discovered she was a feral kitten born to a feral mother who was brought in with her two kittens, I also discovered something wasn’t right with Aster when her tail never sat like a regular cat tail but rather it rest along the spine so the tip touches her head or curl down by her side (I now know this is a genetic defect named differently depending on how the tail sits, hers is an arial tail but it does not effect her health in any way).

Hardest thing is not when they die but when u lose them because of poisson and beating. Car accident also doesnt hurt like poissoning and beating. Another terrible thing is when they become victims of roaming teen bullies with killer dogs. You learn more things about humans, when u ove animals, things u wouldnt know otherwise! One of my cats, a Russian blue was stolen. Still thinking she may live among animal lovers. She was a remarkable cat, among the most intelligent i ever had. Almost 15 years , raised more than 80 cats. Decided i will never again raise or live with cats. I now live with an invalid dog. We together for 13 years

@18635fdgd My fur kinder are indoors only,

I understand we live in a cruel world filled with very sick people.

My neighbours have two bengels who are allowed out supervised so sometime this year we will have dual run built.

It will be for the cats but also rabbits because they are friendly.

It is just not worth the risk und they are happy, happy but safe as am I because unfortunately if someone brought harm to any of them I would have to get rid of that person.

@PrinzessinHarlequin I don't understand this about "bengels". What is this? Do you mean beagles the breed? They sometimes can be bossy, bite fingers or chase and harm poultry and livestock in the next yeard, if not socialized properly.

Once a small kitten came in our yard. It was a strange kitten, a tad different from the others in the hood and it was surprisingly friendly. I live by the sea and our place is visited by many tourists. After a week, a couple from Chehoslovakia (this happened many many years ago) came by our place searching for a small kitten they had lost. Of course they seen it and the way it was already playing with all of us. They were very happy. They left it to me as they considered that it was like karma and they knew the cat will be happy with me.
The couple told me it was a specific breed used to hunt. Somewhere in Cz or Sl, in the province, farmers use such cats to catch birds. After reward they would leave the bird untouched. I didn't really payed much attention, or I should say didn't fully believed this. But this cat was indeed a hunter. Every morning (when she was young) would bring me a bird and call me to see it. She would not eat it or harm it. She never had education as i was practicaly her mother and father.
