@Buttless It was ReverendBobo. He suffered a mental breakdown on anysubj and was verbally attacking and insulting all the members who dared to disagree with him. His conduct earned him a 14 day suspension. Unfortunately that was the tipping point for him and his breakdown evolved into a meltdown. He started registering fake accounts at the rate of one new account per 12 minutes of suspension. He used them to post grotesque images that would make pornography look like kindergarten material. At the same time he openly threatened to hack both sites and post online the personal data of all the members. This meltdown lasted for three full days!!! We know it was him because he sent us a message taking responsibility and the credit for the warning letter received by MPA.
@JudgeDredd if this was out of character for this person then if he really had a mental breakdown its help he needs rather than people coming online and being villified for what he did. Do you not think it be better if you tried to talk to him or be a little bit kinder cos if he took a breakdown the last thing he needs is anyone to keep shoving it in his face. If by chance you hear he took his own life do you think that words such as yours could possibly have played a part in it all. Just be careful my friend cos what you say on these kind of topics can be very dangerous to a mentally sick person, but then you will get to see your tv series and movies too. @sevenfeathers I am not a doctor, nor I pretend to be one. I am a lawyer and I happen to be the Mod on anysubj. As such, my primary concern is the safety of the members of the site from any unauthorized, unwanted or unlawful interference. When criminal conduct transcends from the virtual to the real world, your options regarding an appropriate response become instantly limited. The foremost priorities are risk assessment, risk management, conflict resolution and/or escalation. The reasoning behind the criminal conduct are of no concern to me. That is only of relevance to the judicial authorities and only as a means of potential defense. My concern is in containing and eliminating the problem prior to the unavoidable escalation to the cyber crime division of law enforcement. Had he been passive in his condition, my approach would certainly be different. Unfortunately, he was extremely aggressive and very determined to wreak havoc to both sites by any means necessary, with emphasis and preference to the illegal means in achieving this goal.

@JudgeDredd I have seen his name online. This is the 1st and last time i will write on this site. By right he should have been gone a lot sooner as you dont owe it to site viewers to try help them in times such as this but i can understand as he was a person that seemed well known by other people on chat such as yourself. At the right handside when i come online people chatting are there and ive seen his name lots of times and another name i know is purevodka cos i like the drink lol You certainly put up with him longer than i would have cos the min i thought/knew he was taking a meltdown i would have been onto autohorities immediately. I hope you keep going, I really do. I hope this nastiness stops, the one people are talking about. But for me it was never a community thing. It was simply to watch TV shows. I have learnt to always have half a dozen sites... It was just that you were genuinely the best. You were my replacement for alluc. One I had searched for for so very long.

I watched a movie and looked over all the top headlines I found of interest, Saturday morning (US time), as I usually do. I then left the site for a while. Upon my return ALL OF MY "Edge" FAVORITES/BOOKMARKS HAD SIMPLY DISAPPEARED!!!😣😫
Is this a similar situation to what others have experienced? Or, am I the only person Blessed in this manner??

Okay, is this why, that all of a sudden, in the links area, all that shows for me is the Crocovid.com, the Premium Access, and the Search on Google buttons? (in other words I have no access to links.) Does no one have access to links, or is it just me?
This has happened before(last week) . I was watching a series with no problem, binged about 4 episodes, then - all of a sudden - there is no access to any links other than the buttons named above. I updated my browser (Opera) and thought that had fixed it, but now it has happened again as of about 15 minutes ago.
I can't find any mention of this anywhere else on the Forum, although admittedly I don't know if I am describing it very well.

@Bread&Circuses I click directly where it says mixdrop from the croc page and it works the 2nd time (first is usually a pop up.) I haven't ran into one yet that didn't work for but I also haven't ran into one that didn't have a mixdrop for me to use.

@Bread&Circuses I have sometimes gotten a few popups, but since I knew Mixdrop to work, i just kept going and it finally worked. Hope it does for you!! I use Chrome mobile browser with the pop up blocker extension if that helps anyone figure it out. I use my Android phone and have done it from a Tablet as well
@Bread&Circuses I am using Windows 10. At first when I clicked on a link it would bring up a window (a favicon thing) then exit out immediately and go back to Crocovid. It's like it was blocking a pop up or something. I have since found that if I click inside the Crocovid search box (it will do the favicon thing again when I click in it) and then hit enter and then click on a link, it will work after that.
Hope that makes sense. Hopefully I've explained it well enough and hopefully it helps you in some way. Good luck.
@rickgrimesrocks I have tried everything with clicking in the search box and it does the favicon thing a thousand times. I do use chrome with adblock plus.
@rickgrimesrocks Tried edge which has no ad block and it worked. However then my system is in danger. So I copied the URL from Edge and pasted into Chrome and it worked. THX for suggestion.
@danzgig I use Edge and I use Ublock Origin so you should be able to get it too. Of course I don't know what device you are using but I got it from the Microsoft Store. Good luck.
@Bread&Circuses Sounds like you may need a pop-up blocker installed onto your browser. As an XP user, what browser do you use? I'm not sure what the options are for XP, but if you are able to use Chrome browser, I would suggest downloading the UBlock Origin extension for your browser. That's what I use, and it's super effective- and free!
By the way, I am very impressed that you still use XP! It just goes to show that all these new Windows editions are just money grabs! I love when people know how to make things last. Cheers! :-)

@Bread&Circuses You're not alone, I'm on window 10 the newest update, all croco does is give us crap, I do have two pretty good sites to go to watch but i'm not allowed to put the links here or get blocked again because it's SPAM!!!, also I thought I would make a donation since I'm using this site quite a lot, that doesn't work either
@fifi949 Ditto on all counts but the windows 10. Carry on. I do have options, 2movie was my favorite for much more than just links. I'm trying to paste the croco page I get here to Chrome. Only tried two shows and it shows me the wrong shows. Close but wrong.

I noticed first the embedded version disappeared and then the link disappeared. It's too bad, an d it is a shame. I know in Canada it is not illegal to stream as long as we are not downloading so these sites are legal for us,
@Dr.Evil May I start with the fact that my family loves this site... we stay up to date with all of our fave' tv series', movies - new & old, & shows from other countries since Canadian television is largely U.S occupied but countries like Australia have some great tv!! Even while we patiently wait for your fix I use this site to keep me up with new epi's, new shows, changes in programming etc.
However, crocvid isn't the most up to date so I've had to maneuver finding sites that remotely compare so dare I say I'm using Yesmovies & upstream primarily.
My cheap Canadian @$$ has 4 children, 2 grandchildren, & a hubby & the only thing your site wasn't providing us with was our hockey night in Canada. With that, I say I'm sorry for the @holes who don't appreciate the time of all your uploaders who make it possible for us cheapoes to watch tv up to date for free & from those of us who appreciate all your linkers' time; THANK YOU!!!! 
@alexcentric crocovid has spam ads. if you finna use it, adblock and use blocksite to block the ads to protect yourself and your computer.

@∞Aces∞ Sorry, I'm a little confused about this. I'm trying to watch the newest episode of Outlander. On the Outlander page for episode 4, it says 27 links. Then of course when I go to Crocovid, no links are for Outlander.
@Aces what do you mean it takes several minutes to index new links?
@madgurlygirl just type show/movie name and click search, example: outlander S01e01 or outlander s05e02 etc
Crocovid is an indexing search engine, so it will take a moment for it to gather new links info.
@madgurlygirl It's important to type in the season and episode when searching for tv episodes. I learned that right away. For some reason it won't really find them without it or it will give you a long list to go through. I found the new ep of Outlander by typing in "Outlander s05e04. Hope that helps.

@Tul1p Try clicking in the search box on the crocovid page and then hitting enter before clicking on a link. It was doing the same to me but I have found that doing this corrects it somehow and the links work after that.
@Dr.Evil I should have said this a long time ago, but thank you for this site and for all you do. I will miss the links, since I do use them quite a bit. But there is so much more content here and so easy to use.

Don't hate on that. We are all here doing the same and shouldn't try to justify it. I try to by saying "I pay for Sky and I am only gonna watch things that aren't out in the UK yet" ... But don't be that guy that blames the industry.
If it was a bad system, having so many channels and online subs... Why would a website like this exist? It does because we are blessed with such a diverse range of TV shows. From adaptations of great books like Noughts + Crosses to documentaries like those from Louis Theroux. From Doom Patrol to The Expanse. From Inside No 9 to The Mando.

Is it possible to just remove the button link to the links page but keep the actual links page still running? That way no outsiders (movie companies etc) can come and see this site linking anything. But all of us that are already members can just look in our history and then edit the address accordingly to what we want to watch.
Just as a temporary thing I mean. I remember doing exactly this the last time the links button disappeared a few months ago.

@PizzaSlice The problem with dark web is that many countries are now able to see someone is using TOR. In the UK that gets you onto a list... Not a very nice list either. It means they will monitor you. I don't like the idea of that.
The problem with the dark web is... Do you want to support paedophiles and criminal outfits? By going on there you are encouraging more people to use it. Even Dread Pirate said the whole dark web is a mistake. The guy that started Silk Road.
Logins could work as well. Using captcha as well?
It is hard ... I don't know enough about this stuff to help. I just know the legal ramifications in the UK of using TOR. It really is like a red flag here now. And our government monitors everyone already. Be it via CCTV or simply data traffic. All the ISPs are legally bound. And so are a lot of VPN companies... Making most VPNs in the UK completely useless for hiding, only good for accessing websites that are region locked: such as living in USA and accessing BBC iPlayer.

But the big problem is like now. Look for the latest Brooklyn Nine Nine - Trying. It isn't on there.
It is hit and miss. It really is.
SO don't just say "it works fine" as it clearly isn't as good. Nobody is expecting miracles, but we also don't need lies or BS. Just be honest and say how it is. Or at least understand your experience may be anecdotal. Simply thinking "it works for me so you are all being silly, just use it" is a little bit on the empathetic side.
I get what Doc has done and why he has done it. I am thankful for his hard work. But what I am most thankful for is seeing his replies and seeing that he is smart and has wisdom. He would be the first to tell you it isn't the best solution, but its a solution. He would tell you he wants better. It is up to us to be patient and thank him for his hard work. And maybe those that got more than just links here can keep this place alive and morph it into a huge community.

I searched for the latest Brooklyn Ninenine and found it just fine. I simply typed in Brooklyn ninenine s07e06 and the top 3 results are links for it. Maybe you have different results and I feel EMPATHY for you if you do.
I don't appreciate you saying that I'm not being honest. I have always tried to help people on this site which I'm sure many can attest to. It does work fine (for me and prob many others), maybe it's not as good as before but it's better than nothing.
@R4z0rGr1nd3r A little advice, to try and help you and others, when searching on Crocovid for a certain episode, it is best to type in the exact season and episode. Your Brooklyn Ninenine is an example another would be Outlander s05e04. That will give you the best search results as far as episodes go.

Let me just start off by saying that this has been (hopefully will be again) one of the best movie sites I've ever found/used for many years and while I only started this account recently (and seldom log in) I do in fact come here every day. I enjoy skimming the forums, reading the posted news and especially the movies.
However, I felt it was time to login again, especially if I can help in any small way to ease the possible legal burden in repayment for all the many years of entertainment you have given us (all the users)
So, down to the crux of the issue. First off, I don't believe any of this should be necessary as you don't actually host any movies. Even if they could use the fact against you that your site links to so-called (and I will reinforce why they are not after this) 'illegal' movie streaming sites without hosting any of the content they would be unable to collect anything and the most they could ask (and not win) would be the closing of the site.

I actually find the current temporary solution with crockovid not that bad. I can easily find a working link with the player I wish to use. This setback does not even affect me that much now..
@WingTsun Yeah me too, definitely have to put in seasons and episodes when it comes to programmes, but crockovid is better then no links at all. It's just the matter of adjusting.

I can see the reasons for separating the links from the main site, but Crocovid just does not do it.
If I put in a movie title it comes back with all sorts of unrelated stuff, nowhere near the search power of the old link system we all loved.
I really hope this can be fixed and life goes back to normal!
@Buttless You have to search for the exact episode. For instance if you wanted to watch the latest The Walking Dead episode you would enter in the search bar: "The Walking Dead S10E11", since it is the 10th season and the 11th episode. It will almost always pop up with what you need.

I'm not going anywhere, even if the links never return this site will be my go-to place to find out when new episodes/seasons are released, and to find new movies to watch.
However I have faith that Doc will find a way.
I've not tried the croc-vid thing, I have another link search engine I use. Not posting a link here (not sure that's allowed) but if anyone is having issues with the Croc and would like it please inbox me.

The links gave us a list of quickly available streaming locations that in no way was affiliated with this site. Those still exist.
Keep the site updated with latest releases, reviews and other related info and I'll stl be using it as my first stop.

In Canada for example, it is considered a grey area of law and the overwhelming most of the time, no one gives a f**k if you share files.

Considering this is the media, most are likely outnumbered by the vast number of corporations and businesses workforce that is paid to kill competition. By any means necessary, it looks like. I find that this websites database of movies borders on fair use and copyright, in the sense that there are titles going back 15-20 years which can be found at local libraries. Then there's the "newer" more recent updates. Obviously movies like "Sonic" are going to draw attention quicktime...its still in theatres LOL
Without the outbound links this website provides, its quality does decrease, to be fair. The other functions of the website do seem sustainable, but there's also hundreds of similar websites. Better UX, UI, back end, etc.... I'm not prompted to give away the other websites I am aware of, but I do suggest to the other readers and users of this site to use crocovid. In order to search, a little more work is required then on this website. Still works good.

I understand. If I'm honest, 99.999% of the reason i come here is for the movies. But As long as i can still find what i came here for in one way or another with crocvid, then I'll still be around. So far i i have been able to. Well, for the most part anyway. It's just a bit different than I'm used to but not bad. I have had to resort to my old back up sites for a few things, but that's fine. Do what you have to do. Users will do the same. Most of us understand, appreciate all you do and have done and would do the exact same if we were in your shoes. I just hope the change doesn't negatively affect the site because that would be sad.

@WrongTurn If you use Crocovid (see my comment below for some useful tips) then just pick a link from one of the 3rd party sites that allow downloading, ie. mixdrop and go from there.

Another note about Crocovid guys - after you hit the "search now" button, you will have to click inside the search bar on the Crocovid page and either re-type your search (especially for tv shows, use the s##e## format) or at least click in the box and hit enter (mostly for movies). It does not automatically pull up search results first thing. At least it doesn't for me, not sure about everyone else. With doing this I have had absolutely no problems finding plenty of links for everything I've tried looking up.
Another suggestion - get an adblocker extension/add on/browser if available to you. It is soooo very helpful!

@WrongTurn I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that but if you are having problems downloading directly from the video hosting sites then you could try downloading a video downloader extension/add on. Those could be faster at downloading. It could also depend on the speed of your internet service and if that is the culprit then neither option will be quick. That's about all the help I can give. I wish you luck.

You could setup a different server using a bulletproof hosting, even with fastflux - just to have the links page there. That way this site will not be directly affiliated with the links, and it will be impossible to take the links backend down.

It can be done.
2Mov keeps it's same domain and host of choice, but it links to a movie 'search' site, just like it does now with crocvid.
The difference is that the 'search' site is actually another link-farm with your own link-database, but it's setup as an 'anonymous' site, looks like a search engine, but when you type the search term, it lands you on all the links for that search (movies, series, shorts, etc.) - just like your search-tab works in your present CMS now.

And because you display a photo of the show I have clicked on the simply because the show looked interesting from that photo.

Crocovid works, but not with Chrome. If you're having problems like I was try a different browser and like EternalCowboy said right click and open in a new tab. I had to use Edge (gag) to get the links working the tabs would close instantly when I tried to open them with Chrome.

When I click on the links to go to Crocovid all the tv episodes are old and not the latest ones. It seems pretty much useless for tv shows. For movies it's ok and I can find what I want.

I see that many users don't understand how to search on that site. If you search for episodes you must type like this:
TV Show name S05E12 or TV Show name S05 E12 or TV Show name S2020 E12 etc
I think it's a naming standard.

The only links i use are Mixdrop as that is the only one i can download from, i watch movies on my PS4 because i can't stream via the browser anymore after 7.00 as the image is squashed. I download to my phone then stream to my PS4 using an app or copy to my PS3 then to USB then watch on PS4. On Crocovid i just simply click the link and it opens to Mixdrop, i use Chrome as well, works fine for me no problems.

Crocovid is working perfectly for me now. It automatically searches by season and episode on the tv shows now and I am no longer getting the favicon redirect anymore either. The list of links comes up perfectly every time for me. I'm so happy we have this to use. While it's not as good as before it's is a hell of a lot better than nothing. Thank you again Doc for everything you do.

If I may ask where you are located? That makes a difference in what types of issues you'd face and what powers the DMCA actually has, along with mounting possible defenses.
Also, any specific companies that have complained? And last but not least while it sounds, foolish...are you 100% positive they actually come from the specific companies or agencies? There are not only people who are dedicated to simply causing trouble for the sake of 'fun'/scamming, as well as those trained in the art of making it appear legit.
I and/or my team can't specifically do much without knowing the exact scenario. Any other specifics would also be appreciated from times, dates, etc...

Does CrocoVid still works for you guys? It stopped working for me. I get an ad popup wherever I click on that page and I can't get rid of it. I tried several ad blockers and nothing seems to work here :/
Right clicking (or ctrl + left click) doesn't work so my only option is to hover over the link and manually write down the link address in the address bar.

easy temporary fix if using firefox. find show or movie, click on croco links, copy and paste to internet explorer. click on desired link(may take a few tries)once you get a working stream on internet explorer, copy and paste that link back to firefox, at which time you can treat the stream just as you normally would

Crocvid search is absolutely horrendous. No way to filter different mirrors/hosts/years, no option to sort by date/name/etc. It just shows a random list of links that match your query. Top results are sometimes months old with newer links buried at the bottom or just randomly mixed up in the results. It's all over the place. If the search did work and at the very least provided a basic "sort by date" option, it'd be a great choice.
@KPDshark I thought the same thing. But after reading the above posts and spending a few days, for 90% of everything I searched for, it worked. It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, we obviously appreciated the amazing link system here, but for the moment try Croco with the ShowNameHere S#E# or S# E#, I've found alot of it on Crocovid.
Side note, it sounds like Doc is on the path of bringing us a great system update, so I hope you can get Croco going better for you until then!

I mean I know of other places to watch what I want to watch, but this is my absolute #1 and favorite site. I don't want to have to use the other sites
@Charmed The search does work. Just clunky.What initial search is made may not be the correct order. See how the links are listed and mirror that with a more specific search. i.e. better call saul s05e04. You will see the proper links or close. I use Firefox with Ublock and Avast. No pop-ups. No redirects. Hope that helps.

I tried going to crovid but the only ways to view the actual links --- I can see links now but they only lead back to this site's links over and over. Anyway to actually get the links to work I have to turn off AdBlock Plus and then I get nothing but porn spam. So I guess until this site gets it links to work again without the crocovid listings then I am SOL here and need to hunt things down elsewhere.

I havent had a problem with links till recently where you click them and certain sites refuse to open even if opened in new tab. that still was fine until the websites refusing to open are now like 80% of the links .... not complaining about having to use links at all just frustrated with the current crocvid bc when it doesnt refuse to open links half the links are for the wrong thing .... i find myself more and more using google or other sites to find said links that used to work.

Sorry to inform you but we have to remove current design of links section from the site.
Solution will be elegant and 100% legal.
Soon will be ready a better solution since that design attracts a lot of unwanted attention.
Movie companies started bombing us, thinking we a pirate site, even when linking is 100% legal. We just don't want to risk.
We had to decide to close the site completely or just remove links. So we removed links. This way they simply can't attack us anymore.
This site is my whole life. We are a really large team of movie lovers. You have written so many excellent reviews that now compete with such monsters as imdb. I just can't let it go.
