Hmmm, interesting and if so: good catch. Wonder if 1-star vandals could be deterred by limiting and/or flagging acct for admin oversight if triggered by x# of 1-2 star votes... even if non-sequential? Reminding ourselves that Doc's country at war is more critical than star-vandals. But it is an interesting observation nevertheless. I wonder how or if that nibbles at the sites integrity?

@(⌐■_■) From what I can see, this site keeps a low profile online and doesn't concern itself with the overall star ratings of its vast collection of viewing material (films, series, shorts, etc.).
However, in fairness to the poster, the last batch of newly released filmed were indeed rated 1 star by 1 user within minutes of being posted.
It brings down the site rating, which is not reflected anywhere else but here, but can be really annoying for someone searching for something to watch by rating as one of the criteria.

@(⌐■_■) Yeah it's really annoying I have seen that too, sometimes a movie I liked decently or pretty good has this 1 star already and I'm like Hey! not cool so I give 10 a lot of the time just cause I am trying to help it's rating out so this has already thrown a wrench into things but hopefully this scared the vandall off from "Reviewing" anything else!

For the one star bandit you claim to be, you are not really living up to your name. Consistency is half of success. The other half is attention to detail. And if you did pay attention to the topic in question, you would have noticed that we are looking for someone who rates the movies within minutes of them being posted, thereby excluding the possibility of having actually seen the movie. And your reviews are the exact opposite of that. They contain intimate details of the plot and constructive criticism of the attributes of the movies. Not to even mention that from the 28 movies you rated only 8 are from 2022.

Maybe all those users wouldn't have attacked you, if you didn't take things so seriously. I mean, at worse there's one person on one website going around giving movies one star without watching them first. Which does exactly what? The films are still watchable, they don't impact sales of the films, nor is their review actually seen by anyone who really matters.

I noticed this, not necessarily on new listings but on obscure movies with only one rating. After more people rate it the numbers average out so the odd one cannot be seen.

For some time now someone or someones have been giving 1-star votes to films as soon as they are posted. You can not possibly have seen all the films you give a 1 vote to in the time they have been posted. What is your point? Some sad, pathetic, desperate need for attention? My personal reviews are almost always more in line with IMDB and if I want a review I go there for it, so you are not affecting my choices in any way, it is something I noticed and I am curious.
