Lady Be Good - 1941 - Eleanor Powell
Lady Be Good is a great movie that's in high rotation on TMC.
Eleanor is the greatest dancer who ever lived as acknowledged by her sometimes dancing partner Fred Astaire. Even today, she's required study for professional dancers. This pic showcases her percussive and acrobatic tap style as she actually dances with a very well trained dog. She's great.
It also has comic Red Skelton, Ann Sothern, Virginia O'Brien & Drew Barrymore's grandpa Lionel Barrymore.
Everything else not already posted with Eleanor Powell would be greatly appreciated. Her work isn't hard to find.
