If I'm hearing what I'm reading - So you want to profile individuals one might "visit" by further tracking posts they've ever been associated with? Def a creeper move, just saying. not casting aspersions... but damn that's

@ThomasinaPaine News that you submit are public, it's not your personal info like your age, address and so on. Hope it's clear.
@ThomasinaPaine Tracking is recording what you do silently and using that data (like Facebook does). News that you submit - are visible to all, showing recent news is not tracking. You shouldn't submit news then at all.

If tracking isn't the correct verbiage, TP's intent clearly is. Analytics literally aggregate track and map patterns for surreptitious profiling. So, using analytics to decode a strangers 'type' is creeping and ruminating, invasively. Which according to this threads votes and views [along with a national flurry of licensing updates] shows privacy revision is a big damn deal... with good reason.

@Dr.Evil You ended the other issues --auto popups and other poor programming---that were causing problems because you recognized them as inappropriate. <br> Yet, for some reason you seem to want to defend comments that sound a great deal like drunken diatribes and give "some" people the vehicle to stalk others on here, continuing an unacceptable bullying pattern. <br> BTW...Is it not the admin's job to oversee people's comments [and respond to formal reports] to assure users they will not be addressed abusively on here in violation of TM's written TOS ? <br> That seems like a reasonable responsibility of an admin .

I don't know that it's a feature I'd use, but I can see the value of it. Some of the news items that are posted will only have relevance or interest to some people for various reasons, content, location etc. <br> So if you knew that a particular person tended to post news items that interested you it would be good to be able to specifically see what they had posted. <br> I don't regard that as being any different to looking at a particular persons playlists because you know they have similar tastes in movies to yourself. <br> And surely sharing stuff is one of the purposes of sites like this, and every website out there probably uses analytics to some degree. Difference here is we get to see them too.

Is it possible to have a feature added were we can select the News stories by who posted them.
Drop down box where you can click on a members name and read the stories " they " posted.
I would love to see a feature like this added.
