This is different, touching without being sloppy, one of Jon Voight's best.

Parks and Recreation is a Feel good and laugh good series I can recommend. 7 seasons of 20min shows about Leslie Knope and her buddies in the park and recreation office in the little obese town of Pawnee Illinois.

I guess most of famous Romance-comedies can be easily and blindly be included in the Feel-Good category

@18635fdgd true, it just felt like I had seen all the good ones and was looking for the not-so-known ones( at least to me). Some famous ones I didn't like or find feel good i.e.Definitely,Maybe with Ryan Reynolds I thought was unoriginal but that's just me.

@SimoneS We all got likes/dislikes, even in publicly proven good films. Sounds normal, if u ask me lol. The one when Sandra Bullok gets a passport case and they get fictionally married, wasn't bad to me, is this the romantic comedy you didn't like?

@18635fdgd it's another movie.I quite enjoyed the Reynolds/Bullock team and some of it was funny( Betty White was quite funny in this-RIP).

Some times a martial art or slapstick movie can be feel-good I suppose. Like Jackie Chan's comedies or Trinity's western movies. For example this with Jet Li, was funny and feel-good to me.

Here are a few of my favorite, go-to, feel good movies, some of which may be unfamiliar.

Harvey (1950) with Jimmy Stewart as Elwood P. Dowd. “In this world, you must be oh so smart, or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant.” - E.Dowd.

Esio Trot (2015) with Dustin Hoffman and Dame Judy Dench. A gentle romantic comedy about two adults and a bunch of tortoises. May be hard to find.

The Black Stallion (1979) with Mickey Rooney. A visually stunning movie with a wonderful performance by Rooney.

The Wrong Box (1966) with Michael Caine, John Mills, Ralph Richardson, Peter Sellers, Dudley Moore, Peter Cook and others. Hilarious satire about Victorian mores and morals. Wilfred Lawson as butler Peacock almost steals every scene he's in. Seller's cameo as Dr. Pratt is priceless.
