This summer I saved two bats during the heat wave. They were lying on the ground and did not move. I gave them water with an eyedropper, which they gladly accepted. After a while they flew away. They were tiny, their dentures nevertheless commanding respect.
When my son was little, a big bat got into his room when I was reading him his good night story. I got a huge fright, 
pulled his blanket over his head and waited until it flew out again.

This actually made me cry. I LOVED Steven Irwin and his outrageous love for animals.
