Freedom of speech is not absolute, there are many restrictions, mostly to prevent harm to others, for example in the case of libel, slander, obscenity, pornography, sedition, incitement, fighting words, hate speech, the right to privacy aaand dignity.
Apart from that, this site is not the USA, but a private site owned by a citizen of Ukraine. Or in other words, if someone misbehaves in my living room, I would kick him out too.

@Buttless They can but up to a point. The law provides only an exemption to religious beliefs. From the point that the Judge rules that the facts of this case do not satisfy the requirements of the exemption, the blood transfusion will be forcefully effected and any attempt by the parents to obstruct this process will be regarded as child endangerment (at minimum) and can go as high as attempted murder. Not to even mention that in any case they will be deemed as unfit parents and their parental rights will be removed.

I had to choose to decline a transfusion, or any blood products to my son in critical care because of a doctors treatment "error". Late 80's and HIV was contaminating the blood supply. Add to that I saw another baby die 2 days after recieving a transfusion in the same hospital. My son recovered. And it was a real blessing that I had a friend that was a great pediatrician. He saved my sons life. If you think those parents are just about politics, you are mistaken, I have been there.

@michael59 Oh for the love of God. Are you serious now? Public-Private Partnerships are the backbone of state infrastructure development. They have been used since the inception of sovereign rights as a means to territorial integrity and they are indispensable to the functioning of the State. Without them, the State would have to raise taxes to meet financial development goals on its infrastructure and operate a utilities market from a standpoint of an absolute monopoly. No progress, no quality control, no price control, no legal intervention, no rebates, no competition, no appeals. This is what the world looks like without them.
Perhaps if you showed the same diligence in researching what you don't understand, it wouldn't scare the crap out of you.
@michael59 Did you read the article that you sent me? Did you understand it? Because it seems that you didnt. Are you aware that strategic infrastructure is deemed of such economic and social importance to the state that is considered indispensable to the very existence of the State? If you are aware of it, you clearly do not understand the importance. Somehow, you got the idea that the core of the State and free market rules are the same and should be treated on a level playing field. Even worse, you somehow think that the means of protection of the viability of the infrastructure are at odds with the public interest, when in fact they are the only thing that ensures the existence of public interest itself. Protection from civil liability is granted to ALL actors within the strategic infrastructure. The reasoning behind this is that the award of damages under civil law would bankrupt the actors involved from just ONE instance of litigation. That would create a vacuum in the provision of services that are indispensable to the functioning of the State and would lead to the disruption of social cohesion and order. Do you think for a second that you can sue for damages the provider of your electricity, just because you got electrocuted? Or perhaps that you can sue Boeing when one of their planes crashes? You cant because the State absorbs that liability and assumes responsibility for the payment of damages where it is unavoidable to do so. But this is the State and they don't hand out money on a whim. If you want it, you are going to have to fight them for it. And they are not known for bending over backwards at the first sign of trouble.

The award goes to the candidate that demonstrates the best qualifications and suitability for the task procured. Additional essential criteria for the award also include the lowest price as well as the relationship between quoted price and quality of the service/product procured. So please, for the love of God, do your research about the facts of public governance before making such less than intelligent arguments.

As a lawyer, the sentence "the details of the strategic partnership between the government and Moderna are commercially sensitive" doesn't tell me anything. And that is because commercially sensitive information within strategic partnerships is the norm, not the exception. The mere reference of the existence of commercially sensitive information doesn't convey the means by which this information is to be protected. Which means that your conclusion, aside from being blatantly wrong, is also the product of conjecture.

State tax funded endeavors do not convey ownership rights to the citizens of the State. Your rights as a tax paying citizen are limited to political representation, expressed through the election of public officials that are mandated to act and speak on your behalf.
Stating that commercially sensitive information should be declassified and made accessible without restrictions or reservations, only proves that you have limited to no understanding of both regulated and free market rules, competition and the conduct of the actors engaged in such markets.
