Element, molecule or if you want full blown chemical. Maybe an interaction?

I go for Fluoroantimonic acid. Eats anything except Teflon. So how many bodies do you have to dispose of ? smiley

HAHHAHA. Is that the same as the chemical added to water to make our teeth stronger? Or just based on it? But that one is a "super Acid". There are more 'worser'

Being a Florine and Carbon compound which works as non-stick coating for frying.
Question is.. What was tried to be achieved? Before the common usage?

@Egor17 Wasn't it found whilst trying to discover a suitable coating for applying to space modules re-entering the Earth's atmosphere?

@gallanted That's the normal. Just as asbestos is an amazing fire retardant.
Don't be getting me wrong. I buy non stick cook wear. Aint dead yet.

@Egor17 I used to use teflon all the time because it became hard to buy of the pukka French cast iron pans that, once seasoned, never burned the food. Now that I have an induction hob I've found ceramic to be the only thing that works properly.

"induction hob"?what's that?i been looking for a "microwave/regular oven" sll i can find are expensive toaster ovens,no real small ovens for good baking.everyone wants to sell you a $1,000. range.even stupid toaster ovens $$$.So i just kept my old oven in old stove.all the new appliances are terrible.

@clarachan1355 The "Dry Fryer" is just a miniature fan forced oven. Recently bought one just to make chips. Works great and they are quite cheap. And ye would not do without my microwave. For cook tops I much prefer a gas hob, but am now stuck with a halogen. Induction hobs are good as long as you have iron/steel pots, but they are very power hungry.
p.s. It's not a good idea to use aluminum cook ware. Extended use turns you bones a bluey greenish colour??
