What do you think? Should schools and coaches continue to focus on winning or scrap it for everyone getting the same praise for participation, whether you win/lose or come in last?
I think it is a mixed message since grades are based praising those who produce excellence. Should that change? Then there are school sports? Should field goal points be taken away? Just have two hours of kids throwing up bricks at basketball rims, or kicking soccer balls over the goals. Why have a goalie?
