I've noticed now and again when people reply to " replies " (when there is a lot of them), they can be a little confusion to what someone is replying to.

Is it possible for all replies to be right " under " the comment you reply to, thanks.

@PureVodka🍺 I agree, sometimes the comments are so far down the page you don't even realize someone has even replied to your comment.

It's counter intuitive, for me. I struggle to figure out which reply goes in what order when their are a lot of them.

Actually it works like:
....1 reply to 1 comment
........2 reply to 1 reply
............3 reply to 2 reply
....2 reply to 1 comment

But we had to limit levels and now it looks like:
....1 reply to 1 comment
....2 reply to 1 reply
....3 reply to 2 reply
....2 reply to 1 comment

How do you want to sort them?

We can sort them by add date. More recent replies will be lower:
....1 reply (5 days ago)
....2 reply (4 days ago)
....3 reply (3 days ago)
....2 reply (1 days ago)

@Dr.Evil Ah yes, I can see that now. Thank you for the explanation.

I think most recent should be first (as in higher up).

Usually if I read a response that's why my eye naturally falls.

But the most recent at lower end works, too.

If someone post 2 replies to your comment and then someone post 2 replies to there's and you want to reply to the 1st one they posted, you want the reply to be under that comment. When you login the day after and there is about 4 replies each " say " from 5 diff people, it just gets insane and sometimes you get X-wires, which can result in arguments (even with friends).

@PureVodka🍺 Agreed.

I welcomed a new member (my reply even had @ before the new member's name) but because my reply was under yet another member's name, they thought I meant them, and informed me that they weren't new, which of course I knew because I wasn't replying to them, it just looked like I was.

Whew.

@Dr.Evil On this thread titled "Links Redesign"

I've noticed it can confuse other people besides this one.

I think the descending idea you had above is a good one so that replies to a member fall just to the right of the original comment, and so on. Like it's doing now, but wasn't for some reason before.
