Home made steak meat balls. (400 views, 1 replies)

First time of making and i made this recipe from scratch (did not even bother searching for a recipe of the net).

Ingredients.

500 gram steak mince at 5% fat.
1 Large egg (i use free range ones) beaten.
1 Slice of dried bread grated.
1/3 of a large onion finely chopped.
1/2 tsp of mixed Italian seasoning (herbs).
1/2 tsp of dried mint.
Freshly ground black and white pepper.
1/4 tsp of white pepper.
Couple of pinch's of salt
Couple of splashes of Worcestershire Sauce.

Method.

Mix the white pepper with the onion, then in a large bowl, break up the mince, add the beaten egg, the onion, all the herbs, the freshly ground black and white pepper and the salt.
Stir well with a fork, then add the dried bread crumbs and stir well again.
Make up 12 to 15 balls and place onto a large flan dish.

I cooked them in the combi microwave (900 watt), like this:
