One time I recorded in my house, I went to the frig and came back to my video cam, and it picked up something on the cam. There was no spirit showing ,but you could hear a spirit a voice saying "since you help me,I'll help you." That spirit was talking to me while I was at the frig . I wonder what I did to have it say that to me ?

We have a tall ghost we've always seen in our hallway. This was in a house that we lived in the past 7 years. Our bedrooms were on that hallway and we would see him later at night. Very tall dark shadow. We call him the talk man. My son started him him a few years after my husband and I had. We've moved recently and I haven't seen him here so I guess he was attached to that house and not us. My husband seems to be more intuitive than most. He's had several encounters with ghost over his life. He has also been pronounced dead so that might have something to do with it. He doesn't like to talk about what he saw when he died but he will say there's more after this life. 💋💋

I wonder if a person is closer to the spirit world once a person has died a few time? Also are they able to see spirits more because of it ?

@gregsohappy I would think so. Everywhere we have lived except our new place he's seen things. One night we were playing in bed talking and we thought we heard a noise so he said it's there anybody there? We then heard 3 knocks above our head in the Attic. No one else was in the house. 💋💋

@Teeny💋 Because,I've died 3 times and I see a lot of spirit orbs , white ones and black orbs and blue orbs , I think the blue orbs are angles watching over me.I have seen a women ,child ,a man and a horse running in the woods (only heard the horse) but did not see it

@gregsohappy Wow 3 times is a lot. We've caught orbs in pictures and videos we've shot but they are always white. Do you think black ones represent something different than the others? Blue being guardians makes sense to me. When my husband is having issues or is really stressed he always dreams about his grandfather. He was most important person in his life before passing. I always tell him that's his guardian and that he's trying to tell him something 💋

I don't remember it but my family used to tell me stories about when I was toddler after my mom passed away. One instance, my dad had dropped me off at my grandparents house so he could go to work and my grandma would say I would be in the window waving at someone and when she looked, she saw no one there, but I told her I was waving at the pretty lady. She assumes it was my mom. Another instance, my aunts were babysitting me at their apartment and I would get out of the bed at night, go into the living room and raise my arms in the air and ask someone to pick me up. Of course they couldn't see anyone and they always joked that if I started floating up in their air, they would have ran out of the apartment and left me lol.

@EmpressAries👑 Yes if I saw a toddler raised in the air like that it would scare me too..lol. Well they say there is no stronger bond or connection than that of a mother and her child. My mom used to have a real intuition when it came to me. When I was a teen and going to do something I wasn't supposed to and would lie about where I was going to be sure would always ask are you sure your telling me the truth? She would say she just got this feeling in her stomach and she would know. I am very sorry you lost your mom so young. Thank you for sharing that bc I have no doubt you were seeing your mother 💋💋

@Teeny💋 Thank you! I like to believe that as well. It's so strange when we think about it. I think that sometimes moms just have a superpower when it comes to their kids, when they are here and when they are not. It's crazy, I'm older than she got the chance to be, I hope if I become a mom some day, I'll be as good as mine or yours. :)

When I was young, my brother Allen died from a brain tumor. A few days later I was in bed reading a book, Something caught my attention and I looked up. I saw my brother standing about seven feet away. Just standing there with a odd looking smile on his face. It scared me and I let out a little gasp and through my book at him. He disappeared and I never saw him again.

I saw a bar I walked in had some drinks danced with a cute girl left a tip and went home...

the next day ma friend and I were walking around and passed up the building it was boarded up and I asked...

He said it was closed for years...

Who or what did I dance with?

I am not sure. Usually i am rather the science guy and quite cynical towards supersticious things. but this story happened to me.
In 2017 January i was in Northern Thailand for a wedding of a very good friend. The area is called Isan, its very rural and the wedding was very beautiful.
My friend had to return to europe. i decided to stay for 5 more weeks and i furfilled an old dream: to travel by train from North thailand to the south.
(this is also part of my business i know this line by hard in the upcoming High Speed rail version, but i wanted to take the OLD train)i got on the train from Udon Thani to Bangkog. and in the wrong one. I did not pay attention to an ole traveler rule: in Thailand the train that is announced for a time arriving might not be the train that is announced.
It wasnt
so in the (wrong)train i soon found out there were too many goats and chicken for being the night train with sleeping wagon i booked.
The direction though wasnt wrong. i just entered a country train.

I believe there is so much in this world that we don't understand and it's nice to hear how normal that is in other cultures. I wish we were all that open-minded. Thank also for sharing other info about that area, very interesting to hear. 💋💋

In 1978 right before I had my son, my grandma had a massive coronary. The very last thing she said to me was take good care of him. After I had him one month later I saw her sitting on the foot of my bed looking into the cradle. She looked at me and said he is beautiful, then she was gone.
Not so very long ago, my sister who is also past helped me through a nightmare. I was dreaming someone was chasing my grandson who was three. I couldn't get to him no matter what I did.I woke up several times just to start right back where I left off. I begged someone to erase this from my mind. I SWEAR she came to me and told me she would watch him to go to sleep. I did. No more dreams that night.
Another night we were playing Wii just Smitty and I. We were talking about all the family we had lost. i said I don't think my sister can hear me anymore. That very moment a tiny feather fell on my shoulder. Timing is everything. We have nothing in our home with feathers Daughter was allergic. ...

@fortunate1 Wow! Those are both incredible and beautiful instances. Luckily I haven't lost anyone close to me but my mom and I are so very close. We made a deal that when she passes if there is something more out there that she would give me a sign, something unmistakable. My husband and I always talk about signs and how so many people write them off as coincidence. To me that feather was undeniable! My father believes that when you find nikels or dimes (not sure which one) that is someone that passed. He always believes is his mother. I do remember during her funeral it was a warm summer day and my dad and his sister were crying and all of the sudden golf ball size hail started coming down and quit after a few minutes... Really strange. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences 💋💋

1965, I was 14, visiting my great grandma who lived in an old old old farmhouse on Newfoundland...
There were only two electrical lines, each ending with lightbulbs, for the whole house,, one for the kitchen and second line to the upstairs landing,,,, otherwise, to see at night, we used candles and old lanterns.. (outhouse was out back, behind the barn)
One night, me in the lead to go to bed, I ran up the stairs first, and as I got to making the u-turn at the top of the stairs landing to get to my bedroom,, I see,, a man walking from one bedroom to the other,, in front of a big glass window,, no noise,, just a man dressed in an old baggie turtleneck sweater, thick wool pants and big black boots..
It was maybe two seconds and he took two strides, but halfway through, he turned to me and he had no face,, he had dark hair framing what should have been a face but it was blank and that's when I realized I could also see the big window behind him, through him.. He was solid but I could still see the window too...

@Penelope416 No I don't, I think GOD (yeah I said it Adrian)has our loved ones watching us until we can be together again. Maybe they still have a mission to complete in some way. I don't mean mission like an entry fee. I mean something in them that they won't let go until it's finished.Something very important to them or someone they love.

@Penelope416 Hmmmm, good question! I don't know that I believe everyone becomes a ghost of it is a question of heaven/hell but that if you have unfinished business or if your exceptionally close to a loved one or a friend that your able to look in on them. My husband believes they are all around us all of the time. Maybe some don't even realize they are dead and that we are a nuisance to them. What do you think? 💋

@Teeny💋 I think that ghosts are interdemensional demonic beings. (similar to the concept of aliens)

Also think that the mind can manifest certain energy around people who are coping with grief, making them feel like their dead loved ones are around (but they aren't).

I think when people think they see their loved ones, that it's just their mind's way of coping with grief.

@Teeny💋 For one, evil doesn't always appear evil but it can still deceive people.

"For satan himself masquerades as an angel of light, so it's no wonder the demons do the same thing."

If people believe in heaven and hell then what would be the purpose of a ghost (unless earth itself is a purgatory where people's souls just wander around)... but what would be the purpose of people's souls wandering on earth? Unfinished business? How they gonna finish the business if they're dead? The way I see it, if someone is dead, then that means it was their time to go, and if it's their time, then there is no business to finish. We all gotta go sometime, so the idea that people have unfinished business is pointless. Because in that case, we'd all be ghosts. There's no point to ghosts.

However, I do think that evil can appear good, innocent and beautiful which in result can deceive many people. I believe that demonic beings pray upon the weak and desperate. I believe that angels, fallen angels, satan, demons, can shapeshift. Since they are PARAnormal or SUPERnatural, they defy the natural laws of the universe. They can surpass these laws and therefore do something unnatural (shapeshift for example) to appear as your loved ones.

@Penelope416 I don't disagree with your thoughts on evil but I think there is much more out there that we can't explain and not all of it evil or demons. I think not everything that is scary is evil. We tend to fear what we don't understand. I do agree ghost don't fit in with the concept of heaven\hell but I don't think all of what people see are evil entities. My husband's time did come and he was brought back to life so maybe it was to finish something he hasn't yet?? I suppose one day we will all know the answers to these questions 💋

Penelope416 pointed at an interesting thing: even with totally different explenations all people and religions at least know the phenomenon.
While the christians assume purgatory, buddhists would rather assume a good soul in the permanent state of "ghost" as a reward for having lead "good lives " in your circle before.
if you are interested, this article by a psychlogy professor

@Adrian∞ What makes "purgatory" a christian interpretation? Most christians don't believe or would not think twice about purgatory... they just believe in heaven and hell.

@Penelope416 oh the simple fact that many other religions just dont have heaven and hell (or a "medium stage" like purgatory)but still acknowledge the occurance of ghosts.
thats why it is christian interpretation of a phenomenon

@Penelope416 HI,,,,, from Google:
"Catholics
Purgatory (Latin: purgatorium, via Anglo-Norman and Old French) is, according to the belief of some Christians (mostly Catholics), an intermediate state after physical death for expiatory purification. There is disagreement among Christians whether such a state exists."
AND
"Le Goff also considered Peter the Lombard (d. 1160), in expounding on the teachings of St. Augustine and Gregory the Great, to have contributed significantly to the birth of purgatory in the sense of a physical place."

@Penelope416 and btw,, my interpretation is that; a soul in purgatory is in neither heaven nor hell nor is it earthly bound,, so would NOT be a ghost.. but I wasn't raised Catholic so I haven't really studied it..

The way I heard it: the rich weren't tithing enough according to the church heads,, so they invented purgatory as a type of jail for souls,, and the way out of purgatory was to pay for it... so if you committed adultery, you could pay money for your soul to pass through purgatory faster, instead of being sorry and working penance for your sin.. (very simplified version)
