I agree with you on this one. It sort of gets in the way. I'm always closing it because it's very distracting when you aren't using it.

i believe there need to be more emojis than the limited selection currently available. not everything can be answered with a variation of smiley.

I believe the chat box would be more user friendly if the Emoji box
was under the type box.
