Scientist Explains How to Levitate Objects With Sound | WIRED (221 views, 6 replies)
That's AWESOME. Love this, want this, need this. This is just about the only solution for me not losing my keys in the house.
This also begs the question....is this how the Buddhist monks get to levitate? Do they produce sounds from their undercarriage to achieve this effect?
@JudgeDredd Those nodes are 6mm apart; I can see larger objects being torn into 6mm segments (probably curved) which might be painful.
But the blood-spatter pattern might be interesting.
Acoustic levitation is just plain cool. I've always wondered about the "hum" astronauts say they hear when in space and if it could have a connection somehow. In the Vedas a "universal sound" ("aum" in replica) is also mentioned.
I could read forever about this subject. It's fascinating.
Can't disagree at all, sometimes some proper talking and sounds get things done. The process of Elevation succeeded.
