3 years ago, when the H7N9 bird flu was spreading and looked like an epidemic, I gave a presentation to the safety meeting at work.
The message was, we are overdue for a pandemic and how can we prepare, based in data from the 1918 pandemic killing 50 million.
I might get it out and say "told ya so"!

It'd be helpful if the planets population actually shrunk by that much. But 3x that many babies are gonna show up in the next year from this quarantine. And a dozen years from now they'll be the QUARANTEEN'S, ugh!!!

Scavenger hunts were great fun as a teenager running amok in town looking for stupid crap. As a parent however hunts serve a zillion other lessons and purposes.
