It is ridiculous that it is taken so seriously. I can understanding liking attributes of other people and other animals, but to say that a person now "identifies" as that is delusional in many respects.
I'm wondering what has happened to self acceptance??

I'd identify as a liberal...that way I can be racist, homophobic, hypocritical and violent and its perfectly acceptable. :D

Put your responses where they are appropriate, and get your context correct when attempting to insult someone, otherwise you give away your ignorance too readily.

I recently saw a story about a man who decided he wanted to identify as being younger than his actual age, and then today I saw a 'news' article about some stupid woman who is having tanning injections and wants to be identified as black.
People are ridiculous, and it's also rather trivialising what is actually a serious issue for some, so that does not sit very well with me.
But - just for fun - if you could change your identity in some way, what would it be and why?
Me?
I would identify as a cat.
So I can sleep all day, have humans bring me food and cater to my every whim.
Although just be my luck I end up as a mange riddled stray.
