Sadly, it looks like Vidup is gone.

But Vodlocker is back as vodlock.co !

I also love Rapidvid and they seem to be back up and running, but we don't take them as a host site.

@Perfection I've always had problems with the cryptomining on thevideo, but never on vidup. I appreciate your taking the time to write, I've loads of others to choose from, so just putting the news about vodlock out there. It was a favourite for many people for a long time!

@
Thanks for the vshare.eu acknowledgement. :)

As for thevideo.... did you notice the name change?

vev.io/9jo1nnq02p3e

There are a few more ads you have to wade through at the beginning but, it loads a lot faster and the quality is much better.

It has that "we use cookies...." don't click it just ignore it, it does not affect your experience. :)
@Dr.Evil They use same script like many other video hosts. Vodlocker used this theme www.xfilesharingtemplates.com/xvi... , was my favorite host :)

@Dr.Evil It's a good site I use it all the time. It has been back for a lot longer than people seem to realize. At least 6 months now.

To be perfectly clear, I just use the site, I don't have any affiliation with it.

@Dr.Evil How about ok.ru ? They seem to have links sometimes that are not to be found anywhere on the web. When this happens, I usually download from them, to upload to another allowed hoster. They seem to be using a superior compression rate though. Not so pixellated as youtube or openload. Just saying...

@Флеркен I just suggest you go to the site. It's inferred with what's written there. I'm sorry to hear that. Not sure how streaming gets someone scammed, unless you mean something else? I never had any trouble, but that's just me. :)

@michael59 I doubt it's intentional. I honestly don't see a lot of vshare links for streaming a huge variety of films/shows when I do look for links (Openload is the most popular in my opinion), but I'll put some up when/if I do find links, as I am sure other members will as well. :)

@manditoe Yeah, I don't understand why anyone would use openload unless it is a last resort.

It takes forever to stream anything, even a half hour sitcom.

There is a problem I have noticed with vshare lately, though. I think TPTB were on they're case for awhile and so now they tend to remove popular TV show within 24 hours. :(

@michael59 openload work charmingly in my end, all depend on Internet Provider, some ISP in some countries even block openload, we use hosts with high traffic, and for the "ads trap" you can always use adblock / ublock or any ads blocking for your browser.

Can i add,i don;t understand how we get a whole link full of link-ups, like "Bug"and there are not only, not any Bug movies, they are all "traps"by those websites with big fat ads,and nothing else.No movies at all(Gorillavid espec.)Very dissappointing;this means, those websites did start with movies, and then switched to all "ad traps" later?so they could fool us?and get their ads only,on us?So we have to try out the sites,to see if they are still really movies?and there's no guarantee on any link,it will stay good? Openload does not do that, but a lot other websites do. smiley smiley smiley smiley

@clarachan1355 You may be not pressing the correct button and also need a better pop up blocker. Granted, they always will have ads. This site has nothing at all to do with that (if you want to circumvent that use the EMBED option, rather than a direct link). The host sites generate revenue with the ads, so either embed or just ignore. There are really films and for the most part, I never see ads and ignore what I do get. Gorilla vid is a good example, but they've always got the film there and no ads once you hit the correct button. I hope some of that has, or will, help you. :)

@ ryte? good answer, helpful yet pesky mirrors... saw that coming but my pay grade doesn't keep me abreast of trusted/suspect mirrors. And .in didn't seem very suspect when i dragged its carcass here. I shall learn to .net better xx0x0xx
