Film Comments - What are the BAD words? (347 views, 8 replies)
By my little experience, i feel the word "l i nked" perhaps activated the defense automation. If u paste sentence by sentence, usually u find the forbidden word. I too wanted to use (an example for my review in white hunter, black heart) the words exactly used in the film ( in this case bleed and die for k i k e s and n i g g e r s ) but i got the alert. They were in the film dialog and used to say that the hero was defending them . I then assumed that the site has an automated way of filtering content which something i like of course. Every time i try to mention something with the word L@i"n@ks i get alert
The word "linked" has been flagged in this review. You cannot avoid this. Simply change it to "l1nked" (replacing the i with a 1). SEE BELOW for an explanation.
When typing a review, pay attention to the editor at the bottom, it will tell you precisely what the word is that it won't accept.
The list that I've discovered isn't really an all inclusive list because the words can be included as part of the spelling in a proper name, adjective or place, etc.
You can get around it by editing the word and replacing one character with any like symbol.
For reasons that I'm sure you can guess, I'm not going to post a replacement list here, because there are people who can and will abuse it.
i usually get a notice of which word is at fault...
i even got a blocked notice using a pic originated from another site
got a shock first thinking i was blocked for using pic
I would never have guessed that the word "LINK" was the flagged one. Thank you to the experts and I'll remember to pay attention to the editor in future.
@---BOX--- Generally, it will appear and flag the "word" after you hit the space bar when typing.
Also, do not replace it with multiple characters and still have the word remaining as suggested by Nasos.
Use ONE character to replace, don't leave the word intact within the alteration.
Pictures get flagged in reviews full stop, because they are not allowed. It's got nothing to do with words.
@Bread&Circuses I didn't know this one, but I had this running through my head while watching the film ...
This is an old post, but it caught my eye. I appreciated the movie you were trying to review. I watched it a couple of months ago. A very low-budget film that packs a punch with its message and the lead's acting.
And anytime I see the words "Blue Jean" I start to compulsively sing this song in my head. I would not know it from the 70s, but it made a resurgence in the 80s on alternative radio and it drove me banananas!

I was be happy to submit this comment about the film BLUE JEAN, but the algorithm considers the language inappropriate. I can't find the fault, having made several efforts to correct the obscenity.
I got around the problem by submitting a few lines and the EDITING the comment with the original.
Is there a list of words or could the programmme highlight the offensive language?
