God
When i turned my pc on this morning, all the display settings had changed (like as if i was running a older version of windows). So i looked over the pc to see if i could find any " hidden " updates in the last 24 hour, but there was nothing (even though i know by looking at " task manager " windows was updating something in the background yesterday).
From the post below, i did " 6. Restore Windows to an earlier date " and it worked.
The restore point i used from 1 day back, had a 3am time step, even though i had NOT turned my pc off that late (for some time now, i've been wondering if windows is updating or changing stuff from " there end, where your data is stored ").
Many users reported that their Windows 10 resolutions settings change automatically when they restart their devices.
