I mean the dreams you have while you are sleeping. Not the dreams that you have for your life. If you have ever had a dream that came true, upvote, and tell us about it.

It happens to me fairly often. Sometimes it's just a phrase that someone will say, that I dreamed the night before. Or something that they do. But if someone that I know well is going to die, I start getting irritable. By the time they die, I can hardley stand myself. But I never know who it is. I just dream of someone dying, and within a few days, someone does. It runs in my family. My father told me about a dream he had when he was young, in which he ran over two women. A couple of nights later, it was snowing, and dark, and two women stepped out from behind a car, and he ran them down. They lived, but it didn't do them any good. My mom, and my uncle refuse to talk about their dreams. They say that when they do, the dreams come true. WE dream a lot. I guess SOME of them are going to come true. Kate Upton STILL hasn't knocked on my door yet, though!

Yes, remarkably consistent. I'm tremendously grateful that I don't fixate on trauma, or I'd SHYT meself. Sometimes I have to really debate wether a déjà vu effect was triggered by a foretelling dream? So I convey more significant dreams to a bff or my sons as 'backup' for potential/eventual reality checks. 'Cuz smileywhen dreams DO get realsmileyit can freak everybody out - not just me!

I had really weird dreams about some kind of family secret, only I guess it wasn't such a unusual dream after all. My parents barely spoke of what I dreamed about, but I knew it was something really traumatic. (I knew two of my father's brother's had died in horrible ways.) Whether this was from things I heard as a young child or not, I'm not sure any longer.

The past while I've been interested in finding out what happened to those two brothers.... and was shocked to find out (I googled the death out of the brother's names) to find out the one brother had died trying to save his girlfriend who was drowning, and the other had been one of the last men in Canada to die by hanging for apparently murdering his girlfriend, this was apparently in the 60's. I joined up for a trial membership on Ancestry.ca to confirm this. Can't actually say whether my dreams were what lead me to find this out, but somehow I do believe they did,

@𝓜𝓸𝓾𝓼𝓮*🐭 That's amazing! And what a story! I hope ancestry can help you. I had a DNA test there too. Please let me know when you find out. It's odd how things always seem to come to light, when you are dreaming, or thinking about them. Almost like our lives are being directed. SPOOKY!

@bondojoe Oh I've already found out it's all true, the brother that was hung for murder swore till the very end he was innocent... But when you think about it, there was no DNA, nothing back then, and there were 3 trials, first he appealed, second hung jury, third convicted...

Not sure About Dreams that come true unless also worked towards in real life.
Most impacting dream i ever had was in december of 2010, i was in my grandparents house and some people were trying to get in the house, but there was no sense of fear in my dream, just a odd feeling of calling the ambulence service, not the police that should of been the obvious choice, always looking at the window and feeling always to call the ambulence, something was trying to pull me out the house to something happening i think, as the morning after the dream we got the call that my sister had died during the night or early hours, i cannot say what dreams really are but perhaps a last way sometimes for us to say goodbye or some other things, even after all our so called knowledge of the understanding of humans and the way we act in sleep, still cannot figure out how we get all that information in our heads, sometimes dreams that we have no experience before in even knowing we could dream about.

@KiaZi It seems you SHOULD believe in dreams, after that. Either we are all unconsciously connected, or there is a separate intelligence entirely. Thanks for sharing that!

@bondojoe That is ok, years ago i had no way to express myself in words so i started my music adventure in march of 2011 as a way to unload my sadness at the time, it seemed to help me in those stages of my life.

@KiaZi They don't know all science, yet.I read an anthropologists' book, and she said some primitive tribes use it.She also wrote, she got "emergency feelings"from her DOGS.and they turned out to be true.--feelings they projected to her,had real results in fact.It happened at least twice.(they were very close to their dogs.)I emailed her,she was very nice,& very sane.-a scientist.

My husband had a dream with these symbols and numbers in them. He wasn't sure what they were supposed to mean until we went in gas station and he saw a scratch off with the same symbols and numbers. He bought one and won $50 smiley

tHANK gOD,there are other families like my dads.we got, from some branch of his family,a high quotunt of ESP.When my sister and I were kids,my dad,and me and my sister, would trade dreams at night.--we were picking up each others' dreams. We knew our dad had it so strong, one time he dreamed of a horrible war battle, and saw the photo in the paper the next morning.-It was the same place. My sister and I traded dreams. when we lived together as adults--and had the same thing happen when I moved down the street.

A week before I saw her,one time, she dreamed that she would cut her hand slicing a bagel, and have to go to emergency to sew it up.Meanwhile, unbeknownst to her,I had sliced my left hand, slicing a bagel, had to take it to emergency. We did not communicate that whole week;when I met her on that friday, there I was, bandage on hand. She was aghast; I did it, and she dreamed it.They should have done tests on us,at that point.uh---maybe not.I'm paranoid of the govt.--"X-Files"fan.I read, yrs later, people like that worked for the fed.real people.

I also had it happen, I could predict when--I would unexpectedly run into a friend.---I knew it five days ahead of time. But I hadn't talked to the guy for months. But,I knew it anyhow.Sure enough, there he was.by accident.I had this"weird predicting" several times..Months before I moved back to Oregon,I kept dreaming--of me driving a car, and commuting around curved highways, back and forth--but I don't drive any more.Later,in Oregon,I got into a cab,and did the same commute, same highway, SAME EXACT HIGHWAY,as I had in my dream--it was cuz months earlier,I was going to"find a certain dept. ...

@clarachan1355 Sure... I dream of places that I've never been to... but I figured it was just a racial memory left by one of my ancestors.

@clarachan1355 Do you read or practice much into lucid dreaming and astral projection at all these days?

Well its all part of dream yoga and all that i think, so nothing new for us, but the last 60odd years the western parts of the world have made great progress to sort of come into a league somewhere near the eastern traditions. they already knew for aeons the importance of, what they call enlightened, awakened and all that.

Robert Waggoner (Lucid dreams)
Charlie Morley (Lucid dreams)
Stephen Laberge (Lucid dreams)
Michael Raduga (OBE, Astral P, The Phase)
William Buhlman (Astral Projection)
Lots of videos on youtube on these subjects in present times:)

Personally as i am a total loner, i don't encounter shared dream states with others, although i dream of faces and places never seen in films or games or life, actually in my older years i am having troubles lucid dreaming and just dreaming(remembering) in general, all that stuff about wireless interupting the dream cycle may be true for some, more, then all.... ...
