Beer and Cheese Dip (922 views, 3 replies)
Have you tried adding avocados and turning it into a guacamole type dish? I did something similar to this for a buffet and served it with crudites... it was the most popular thing on the table.

@gallanted Adding avocados is a great idea! Do you mash them or dice them before adding them. Using this dip as a raw veggie dip is also a delicious idea. Thanks for the tips! :)
@caseyanne Crushed with a fork ( very gently ) and folded into the mix... sprinkled paprika on top and added coriander ( cilantro ) leaves as a garnish.

Beer and Cheese Dip
INGREDIENTS:
Makes about 4 cups of dip.
1/2 of a bottle of your favorite beer (about 6 oz)
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
2 (8oz) bricks of cream cheese
1 packet of ranch dressing mix
DIRECTIONS:
I used an electric stand mixer to mix up the dip. Feel free to mix by hand.
Start by placing the 2 bricks of cream cheese in your mixing bowl. Pour about 1/2 a beer into the bowl.
Next, add your 2 cups of cheese and ranch mix.
Mix together until smooth. Feel free to play around with the beer. You can add more to make it thinner or don’t put as much in to thicken it up.
Refrigerate dip for about and hour. And serve! You can serve this dip with a ton of different dippers. Pita chips, regular chips, crackers, veggies, or (my fav) pretzels!
