Canadian Airline *WestJet................Christmas Miracles Campaign

Each year, we challenge ourselves to come up with a new and unique way to spread Christmas cheer and to celebrate the season with our guests. What started as a relatively simple Christmas flash mob evolved into a more elaborate Christmas Miracle surprise that still captures the imaginations of people 7 years later. Our blue hat-wearing WestJetters helped Blue Santa give gifts to a community in Dominican Replublic who need them most. We then asked our 14,000 WestJetters to help us spread the Christmas spirit from London to Hawaii and from Costa Rica to Yellowknife Canada..

Quebec City Was Ranked One Of The Top 10 Best Christmas Destinations In The World..Starting at the end of November, Old Québec is transformed into a real Christmas village, just like out of Charles Dickens's novel - A Chrismas Carol -



The ranking, put together by Travelandleisure, SmarterTravel and CNN Travel, put Quebec City at No. 8, just ahead of Reykjavik, Iceland, and just behind Honolulu, Hawaii.

This isn't the first time Quebec City has been recognized for rocking the holidays. In 2016, it was voted North America's best winter wonderland by USA Today.

Modern Impressionistic Artist................................❦ Leonid Afremov
❦ Born July 12th 1955 in Vitebsk, Belarus - Died August 19th 2019 in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico is a Russian–Israeli modern impressionistic artist who works mainly with a palette knife and oils. He developed his own unique technique and style which is unmistakable and cannot be confused with other artists. Afremov is mainly known as being a self-representing artist who promotes and sells his work exclusively over the internet with very little exhibitions and involvement of dealers and galleries.

❦ On 17 May 1990 the Afremov family entered Israel in Ben Gurion International Airport. They had to give up their Soviet citizenship in favor of Israeli. To this day, Leonid Afremov and his family are citizens of Israel only.

... ❦ Because he was a recent Russian immigrant, the locals considered his work as having little value. Galleries took paintings for 50 shekels - 15$ and were reselling them for 500 to 5000 shekels. When Leonid confronted galleries about the extremely low prices, he always received the same answer, you a Russian immigrant,
❦ During the early 1990s, Leonid Afremov was mainly working with watercolors and acrylic. He was experimenting very little with usage of the palette knife. He was painting what people were buying, with very little artistic freedom.
❦ In 2005 Leonid Afremov vacationed in Playa del Carmen and Cancun for the first time. Since then he was visiting the Mexican Caribbean 2 to 3 times a year and completely fell in love with the area. Eventually in March 2010 Leonid decided to take on early retirement recommended by his doctors and moved to Playa del Carmen, a popular resort town near Cancun. Where he recently passed away with his whole family around him.

★Abe was programmed to love. Until recently, he had a family: he was living with them, cooking, helping them in every aspect of their lives – it was a servile situation, but he didn’t care, because he felt loved. Then, suddenly, everything changed and his “family” stopped loving him. The lack of affection shook the robot, undermined its mechanisms. ◆ Recuenco was born in Madrid Spain........*During the first steps of his career, being attracted as well by photography, he specializes in large format paintings in which he included pictures of his own. However, in his own words: As I could not find a public interested in four-metres-wide canvases, I focused on photography. Then he begins collaboration with the main Spanish and International fashion magazines Vogue Spain, Madame Figaro, Wad, Vogue, Spoon, Planet, Vanity Fair, Stern, Kult, Twill, GQ, Marie Claire,Vogue UK, Zink, Nina Ricci, Diesel and Yves Saint Laurent.
