RDM, yes, it's because you are a new member there.
The two sites are only available to you this way because as a member prior to Anysubj you were ported there (as a courtesy) which only means you don't have to go through the registration process.
Sooner rather than later, all of the news feed will disappear on Two-Movies. It is only there to alert new Two-Movies members of its existence.
The automatic affiliation will drop off in time.
Also, TM is now 100% entertainment.
The other site is basically ANY subject. Although some are referring to it as a "News" site, it is not. It is an ANY SUBJECT site. (The news is one small component.)
