That is a hard choice.......i watch so many things that each could be a favorite and they all are:)

Red Dwarf
Bottom
Star Trek
Farscape
Highlander
Porridge......many more
Too many.....i cannot choose one over another, and if animated shows are also included, well then it is even a bigger list to add-on:)

@KiaZi If you haven't already, you should check out the Red Dwarf books. The first and second in the series - Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers & Better Than Life, have audiobooks read by Chris Barrie. They are very funny and definitely worth a listen/read if you're a fan. They are all available on Youtube.
@DemandingFemale I have those from when piratebay was more safe to use:)
They are great to listen to, although backed up now on disc somewhere with a load of other audioo books, probably a time saver to just pop to youtube and have a listen, thank you.
I did not know some females also enjoys Red Dwarf, sorry i mean nothing by that, just never known any exist:)

@KiaZi I could probably do Red Dwarf as my specialist subject on Mastermind lol.

There was a double volume encyclopedia released a few years ago. They include an A-Z of everything from the shows, books, comics, games etc. It's called 'Total Immersion - by Paul C. Giachetti'.

I also went to see 2 of the Bottom live stage shows - in '95 and '97. I think I still have them on VHS somewhere, too.
@DemandingFemale I can only imagine the feeling of being in the presence of Rik and Ade you must of had, i have all the shows and series on dvd but never seen anything live like that.
i tend to be one of those that loves to watch things, but seldom do i seek out all the knowledge on something, when it comes to film and tv programs that is.
Sometimes knowing too much takes the magic of how and why, but that is just me, i love to know things i did not before regardless, just hate to search on tv and film knowledge.

What did the new Ace rimmer respond wrong with, when leaving the Red Dwarf/starbug, while saying goodbye to his crewmates after replacing the old Ace Rimmer?

@KiaZi The same thing I said to my family and friends as I was being wheeled into surgery...

"I just wanted to say that.. over the years, I have come to regard you as... people I met" ;)

@DemandingFemale yes that is correct, but i should of been much more specific perhaps.

Stoke me a clipper, i'll be back for christmas, he said instead of the usual Ace Rimmer, but i could of made the question easier to understand.

Got into all sorts of heated disagreements on Star Trek online when this poped up, most say it is smoke me a cipper, but that comes before the stoke me piece.

@DemandingFemale Yes, i forgot there are a few times when he leaves only to come back in some way, mentioning the episode would of been a help, but did not think in time.

second technician Arnold Rimmer IQ....unknown

@KiaZi And I've just seen you have Bottom on your list, another fave of mine, I only have to think about Sprouts flambe and Vodka Margarine and I'm cracked up. Laughing now in fact.

@⭐️janerosity⭐️ vodka Margarine:D that is the Christmas episode of series two of bottom? that is a memorable episode, one i always watch over the winter time.

With me i just think of his face and can start laughing out loud, Him and Jim Carrey are the only ones that can make me laugh with just simple movements of their faces.

Spontanious face, from bottom live, Arse oddity perhaps was the one. always gets me laughing, seen the face dozens of times but still excellent.

@KiaZi i never seen black adder but one of my best friend talk to me to death;the main probleme with humour is cultural with a lot of references (local, about a person etc...) is where mr bean is transcultural because is visual
i realy like will forte and the last man on earth and his universe,in fact is the only short comical show that i watch, robin williams was a master too, i like when is mean and dark too like springtime in germany of mel brooks in the producers

@KiaZi I love Red Dwarf too, not watched if for ages though but I can still sing the theme tune all the way through :)

@⭐️janerosity⭐️ That theme tune is always good to hear, goldfish sholes nibbling at my toes....they just don't make theme music like that anymore:)

I watch all up to series 8, then it became all a bit mushy with Red Dwarf: back and forth, good bladerunner tribute though, and from then the series has not been as great, they lost one of the producers of the series, last year or a bit more further back, it has not been its great standard of quality since the old days.

Series are so much better than these 90 or 120 minute movies because the characters can be so much more believable and the more the actor is in character the better the series becomes. TV is suffering, the better series have been online and the better actors have shifted to the internet series. There are lots of good series depending on which subjects you enjoy more :)

If I really had to pick one favourite Game Of Thrones.
But there are so many, Handmaids Tale is a very close second though.

Older series I would probably go with comedy options.
In agreement with Gemini about Bottom and Red Dwarf, but absolutely everything Alan Partridge, Nighty Night, League of Gentlemen, The IT Crowd, The Inbetweeners.
I could actually go on and on....

@⭐️janerosity⭐️ Ah HAAAA knowing me knowing you with Alan Partridge, he is one i love to watch as well, that time was great the 90s, all current and loved shows from generations past were all shown in that decade of tv, some i hated when younger like only fools and horses, but now like them a lot.
Always i liked Partridge from the start, thanks for that, it's another to add if i have not already:):)

@⭐️janerosity⭐️ I can annoy my relatives quite easy with Alan Impressions:D:D they hate him

@KiaZi As a result of a conversation with another Partridge fan I work with I was made to realise that I actually quote him several times a day. It's become second nature now. There is a FB group, Bouncing Back Alan Partridge's Biggest Fans. Thanks to that, and a Peep Show (shoulda added that to my list) group I mostly have a FB feed full of Partridge and Peep show quotes. And cat pics.

@DemandingFemale They really should've made that show. Or at least given Alan the second series.
And yes, really enjoyed that too. Although I was even happier when they did the new Gents episodes.
