A school friend of mine is a trumpet player in big orchestra in Bavaria. we skyped for a while when he told me that all German orchesters -no matter if opera, choir, plan to play
Beethovens "ode to joy" (poem by Schiller)in the way this video of a flashmob shows...at the same time and hour when europe can say "we did it" and the pandemic is over.
Enjoy, this is our european hymn and for good reason:

Joy, beautiful spark of Divinity [or: of gods],
Daughter of Elysium,
We enter, drunk with fire,
Heavenly one, thy sanctuary!
Thy magic binds again
What custom strictly divided;*
All people become brothers,*
Where thy gentle wing abides.

Whoever has succeeded in the great attempt,
To be a friend's friend,
Whoever has won a lovely woman,
Add his to the jubilation!
Yes, and also whoever has just one soul
To call his own in this world!
And he who never managed it should slink
...

Brotherhood, respect and the joy you give will win this crisis.
Stay healthy, hope we will sing soon!

My plan is to hold a collaborative birthday party for and with all my friends and family who've been disallowed celebrating their special day.

The list of guests of honor is growing ever steadily in length but my greatest hope is we'll all be getting together sometime in June for some big doins here at the casa in the sticks.

Lotsa good company, music filling the air, tables set with a spread of carnivorous delights, dips, chips and sweet tooth delights with some old fashioned home made ice cream to top it all off, oh yeah ... and plenty of BOOZE smiley smiley smiley

NZ just achieved elimination and reduced the isolation level.
We celebrated with fish and chips as soon as the takeaways opened.

@Adrian∞ We have been watching the US and Euro news, it looks terrible. Where the NZ government succeeded was daily news reports with people who looked like they know what they are doing, who explained the problem and got the people on-side, so they obeyed the distancing rules. And quarantining everyone coming in. It seems to work.

I hope that I remain ever mindful of the time when the world was more alike than different - where health and love ones were the only true things in life of any real importance

I want to walk on Crystal bay beach on Koh Samui, Thailand, again.(and i will)
I have rented a house there for the second year now, it gets really cheap if you rent long term (and if you have Thai -not farang- friend renting it)

i made that... smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley
wäääääähääähäähääää
i can`t even hug a friend or my nieces when i visit them, although i promised to lift her to the ceiling as long as i live . It was a HOLY promise and cant at the moment.

Corona and quarantine are SHIT i wanna sit in airplane and travel..

A hug for a start would be even greater...

I don't know that I will do anything special. To tell the honest truth it hasn't changed my life much. Other than Smitty hasn't worked in two months. Still can shop or eat out(drive thru's). Maybe have a family dinner. We haven't done that since all this started.

Go see a murder mystery event or a play as soon as possible.
Go see a new Marvel movie (I hear Black Widow has been pushed back).
Go chill at a nice coffee shop with some friends.
Go to the mall.
Go to another art museum
Go horseback riding.

Apparently my mom wants to throw a party... not sure if I'll be there for that, lmao!
