"Every user can set a custom background." Are you speaking of the list given? Because I can't use my own pic to make a "custom" background. The drop down List is limited to dull backgrounds

Love his idea but it would be much better if we could upload our own backgrounds. Changing the colour of the inner part of the profile and font would be cool to if possible. Then we can have our pages the way we want them. I am actually light sensitive and white backgrounds hurt my eyes after a while so this would really improve my experience on the site. 
@ATouchOfClass If we allow users to upload images then it may cause problems: <br> <br> Users can upload too big image. <br> Images may appear crooked, etc. <br> <br> Our images are fully compatible with the site, and design. They fill the space evenly. <br> <br> But we will make tests and add bigger images.
@Dr.Evil Just list the requirements of the image sizes for people to adhere to and/or make them subject to review before they have permission to use them on the site.

Go to Profile Settings and choose a desired background! Everybody can see your background.
