Bruce Willis has appeared in a bunch of B-grade movies recently, usually in a bit-part where he wanders in and says a few lines but doesn't do anything active.
Like Gasoline Alley (or any of the 20 straight-to-vid releases in 2 years):

Now there are reports of memory loss and even dementia.

Its better to retire when you're on top, then people remember your best work.

@Buttless He has been making these "payday" movies for years. He, Segal, Lundgren, and others who have a recognizable name but no real acting talent, like 50cent. They show up to work for 3 or 4 days and they get paid as much as the rest of the cast put together so that c..p movie company can use their name to promote the films. The guy who makes these awful films has made so much money making them that he actually made a deal to make a real movie starring Robert Deniro.

@Wander I meant to say, "others who, unlike Willis, have a recognizable name but no real acting talent

Bruce Willis had considerable acting talent in his early career, 'Moonlighting' TV series got him nominations for Emmys and his combination of tough-guy with comedy in the first Die Hard movie as John McCane was memorable. He went on to a bunch of good movies up to the late 1990s, his role in 'the jackal' was good even if that remake was not so good as the original.
Then he just turned out the same old cr*p action movies for 15 years, and is now doing bit parts in B movies.
Its sad, I'm sure he does not need the money. He should have retired after 'Sixth Sense' and let us remember him from the good days.

@Buttless I loved Moonlighting , hated the last season a bit. Back in the past he has done very good action movies and Dramas. I can't judge if the mans needs work or loves to work on this. I don't know why he is doing it. Should own investments and land by now with all the great movies he made. I don't follow closely gossips abt actors marriages and finances. I know they get really a lot if they manage to be in the cast of blockbusters

It's sad the way he is taking roles meant for a 30 year old. I attempted to watch "Apex" a while back. It was cringe-worthy seeing him try to run and fake fitness. He doesn't seem to be able to deliver his lines any-more, either. I feel sorry for him. I believe the rumours of his having dementia may not be too far from the truth. It must really stink to be at such a crossroads in Hollywood. I'm grateful that I won't be in the spotlight with aging. It's hard enough just living a regular life.

This is a usually occurrence for many great aging actors. It puzzles me why they would make these career choices. It can't be for lack of finances. Then again some stars do blow through their money or make poor financial decisions. It makes me stop and wonder for sure. Eric Roberts is another one doing the same terrible movies that I don't even attempt to watch if it's not at least 15 years old

@Buttless Yes I am sorry for Bruce Willis and all the other people with this disease. But I wish he hadn't flooded the market with bit parts in cr*ppy B-grade movies in the last couple of years, it was obvious he was struggling.
Better to remember him as a great actor (and yes, he had a lot of talent) for his performances like John McClone and the Die Hard series.

@Buttless Well, in his defence, people with this disorder who don't have millions are in denial until they cannot any-more. Imagine having so much money, and being in denial because you do not want your brain to be degenerating. I can empathise!
