Don't let the Republicans win (1483 views, 140 replies)

If the Republicans win, Ukraine could lose military aid. If Ukraine is deprived of assistance, then Ukraine can be captured by Putin and the Russian army will continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and kill Ukrainian citizens.

This site is already hanging by a thread from closing. The income is barely enough to pay for hosting. If you hand over Ukraine to Putin, my life will be in danger personally. And this means that the site will be closed with a high degree of probability.

You don't know what war is, I'm already frightened by every loud sound. I haven't seen my family since March 2022. My university where I studied is destroyed. 3 times rockets exploded near my house. A friend of mine was hit by cluster munitions at a gas station just on his way to work.

Please make the right choice.

Thank you.

P.S. If you don't agree with the title - please tell us why. Spam, hate speech etc will be deleted.

I found this recently. Republicans care of US borders. Okay so when someone will kill your friend - you care only of yourself!

@Dr.Evil I love the Ukraine, and want you to win the war, and love this site, ans have tons of respect for you Dr. Evil. Please do not misunderstand what im telling you. If Trump of any republican had been in office, I PROMISE YOU that RUSSIA WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN INVADED the UKRAINE! I know what you're thinking but it is true, and the reason is that, if they had invaded with a Rep. om office, they would get their ass' kicked. If Trump were still president or we get another Republican president, and I rpomise you the next pres. will be republican after gas prices went from $1.32 a gallon to $4.00 a gallon over night after Biden went in, then Americas Military will be over there pushing them out of your country, ACTUALLY if and when we get another Republican President, if Putin doesnt choose to leave as soon as possible, then once again we will be there in full force to move them out. ...

@KrazyChris You are mistaken. Trump would have offered military support to Putin. He supported Putin in countless instances, protected him from criticism and supported interference (in his favor) in US elections. Ukraine would have been lost long ago, had Trump been in charge. There's a good reason Russia supported(s) Trump, just half the USA is willfully ignorant to the actions of a dictator. Birds of a feather...

@Dr.Evil Doc, the war that is being fought is the result of decades of manipulation to use your people in a proxy war against Russia. That doesn't help help you or your country. Close to $100 Billion has been sent in military aid already. Has it fixed the situation or is it expanding the danger of tactical nuclear strikes? It has been reported that 6,000 US troops have entered the field as "advisors". Expansion of war in Ukraine is not the answer, It will only result in annihilation. Trusting the corrupt leaders involved to lead your country to victory is a deadly mistake. The US administration and war industry here only seeks profit and power. Ukraine will become a wasteland as a result. But for you personally, escape may be your best option for now. Negotiations for cease fire, and a deal for for neutrality with economic alliance with Russia may still be possible. Even though it may seem impossible now. ...

@Dr.Evil Now I know that not all Ukrainians are Nazis, but anybody that can not see that there is a horrible element of the Ukraine that controls the country is just being willfully blind. It is not my obligation or anyone else's to "protect" Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is only going to get worse. I want an independent and free Ukraine. Free from the West and free from Russian influence. Our own military in America has deprived itself of its own ammunition to the point where we have depleted our own reserves. Ukraine is under hostage by neo-nazis from Galicia. Ask yourself this question: why should I support people that abuse their own citizens that disagree with them, Roma, and ethnic Russians? Do you think I should allow people that idolize those who collaborated with Hitler? Would these Nazis with their hakenkruez, dark suns, and wolfangels feel comfortable walking on a street in New York?

This is despicable. You shouldn't have to explain fighting for your life to anyone.

KEEP the title, it's honest and people that want to defend not sending aid to a country that needs it would do well to remember that turn about is fair play.

Anyone who doesn't like it and feels that the Ukraine is on their own should leave this site and go elsewhere and leech off someone else. smiley

I'm so sorry for what is happening to you, your family and the Ukraine.

This is beyond awful.

Please take care and let the people who care here know how we can help!

It's been a long time since the Americans, along with others, came to my country to finish off the Third Reich. It was worth every penny!

Unforgettable is the Airlift, when 2.1 million tons! of coal and food were flown to Berlin during the Blockade. For humanitarian reasons and to counter the Russians.

Those were the days.

Finland strongly condemns the Russian invasion in Ukraine. This is not a political view. This is a humane view all should see. The conflict in Ukraine is not just a conflict. It is an unprovoked war, breach of international law and an attack on freedom with too many victims including civilians.

I find what Republicans do to be genuinely baffling

You and the Ukraine are most certainly in my prayers. I am part Ukrainian. My Grandmother and my Great grandparents are from there. It makes me very angry like hearing about the bully in the school yard picking on the little guy. What you are going through is much worse of course but that is how I equate as to the kind of man Putin is. I pray for this to be over soon and that you can feel safe in your own home once again. Not just you but all of the citizens of Ukraine. God Bless you Dr. Evil and your country.

Ukraine is a money laundering place where the Bidens have lined their pockets at the expense of the american tax payer. Let them kill each other and do not send aid or any to them. the whole thing seems like an excuse to drag the US into another needless war.

Near Bakhmut in Ukraine's Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces often rely on artillery from the 1970s and 80s. The front line there is one of the most hotly contested areas. The soldiers say that although the Soviet-era weaponry is old, it is still very effective.

We fight using weapons what we have.

I'm going to vote right now, I've never prescribed to ANY party only logic and am not going to be controlled by rhetoric of any kind but the way people have spread rediculous hate and refuse opening their eyes to anything other than what they are told from their given side/party is exactly why I'll never subscribe to one news channel one party or even one country. After traveling outside of the U.S. I see how much suffering we cause just in the name of business and I am sorry to anyone that think themselves warriors but cannot care for their fellow human being anymore. Wake up from boogeymen and strongmen listen to your minds and hearts. If your a christian than it's as simple as this: do as Jesus would and love thy neighbor love your enemy even. I only hate the actions that my fellow man does but will never wish more suffering or death upon our planet as it gets us nothing. Please do what you know is right people, it is not something you need to be taught, because belonging is not as important as being just and merciful in the choices and actions you take upon your brothers and sisters of the world. Don't let a lie make you ignore the truth inside each and every one of your hearts and minds. Science Bless you all.

@JudgeDredd I have no problem with this post but for the fact had I done the same with a different flavor . . .
That post was clipped from such that you posted to me and others. I'm pointing out the unequal application of the rules. Since, as you claim, Your only function here is you write the rules and you apply and enforce them, I understand you being bewildered facing the hypocrisy.
Now had such thing still been allowed on personal walls, that would be the place for it. But personal walls are anything but.

@Bread&Circuses I am sorry but I am not the one writing the rules. The Doc does that. I only enforce what he tells me, when he tells me. For instance, I didnt receive any notification from the Doc on this thread, which would explain the initial confusion on the applicability of the existing rules. And he is free to amend them as and when he sees fit. If you feel the Doc is acting hypocritically, perhaps you should tell him so yourself.

Aside from the constant recycling of less than intelligent far right memes, the demonization of your opponents, your never ending sponsorship of the big lie, the climate change denial, your inability to distinguish between socialism and communism, the truly hilarious idea you have that social policy and socialism are one and the same, the fake Karl Marx quotes, the Saul Alinski bible, and last but not least your egregious intolerance towards anyone of a different color or sexual orientation to your own, your worst transgression towards the members in this site, is calling people sheeple and idiots. Hardly an indictable offense. And despite my personal feelings towards you, I am not in the habit of punishing anyone without cause.

I realize that this must piss you off, considering that in the grand scale of things and by comparison to your friends, you don't amount to much of a threat to the site and its members. ...

This is the time to donate time and money toward helping those in dire need.

People will see posts on Facebook pray for this person or that person or this country or that country. Its all just "Text" and "Writing" people will only help you if they can look good doing it or really truly care.

That is the thing about "people". Some will help and some will not and some can and some can't.

When a person that can help wont it makes them seem like a bad person. But when a person that can't help helps that makes them look like a great person. But when a person that can help helps it makes the world a better place. After all anyone with the power to help should help. That is the way the world should work but doesn't."

Here we go again! Reminds pretty much of the election wars on anysubject in 2020!
A return of the orange idiot would not only be a catastrophy for Ukraine, but for the Western World and all democracies ITSELF.
Under President Biden and all allies NATO reunited again and found so valuable new members like Sweden and Finland. The West still struggles to recognize the major zoom-out-picture. Autocrats, dictators of Russia, China and elsewhere try to export their political system anywhere in the world. We had some great successes: Bolsonaro is gone, clown Boris Johnson is gone. Yet in countries like Phillipines, Venezuela, Saudia Arabia, Iran and many more human rights, democracy and rule of law are trampled all over.

UKRAINE IS THE ONLY COUNTRY CURRENTLY PAYING WITH BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS for OUR values.

If the US under Republican rule stops their support or significantly reduces it victory will be impossible.

And now to the weirdest point: It is disgusting and totally stupid to claim Donald T. would have prevented the war. It was him who kissed Putins as s. It was him who let China take over more than half the world. The Chinese BRI invest program had like 50 member states in 2016, and 138 in 2020.
