Not really. Then again, we did see exactly the same situation vis a vis robots in the manufacturing industry several years ago. Nowadays, in the automotive industry at least, cars that are hand made have their value increased by several times over the competition. It becomes an issue of precision vs quality. And quality always wins.

Just wait and see... For now all small country factories in EU plan robotic and AI update in production engineering heheheh. Ask the Americans how happy they are abt AI lately. And the next step will be to legitimize with laws this atrocity...I bet they already make frames and pretexts of these laws. Ppl will start name their kids "Sarah Connor"....

The Luddites tried to stop progress in 1800's by wrecking weaving machines, they wanted to keep hand-weaving jobs.
Change will come whether people want it or not, old jobs will go and new work invented.
