@jpadilla1967 In my conscription I learned to use quite a few weapons, but the one that was the hardest for me was Rynnäkkökivääri 95 Taittoperä (Sako RK 95 TP or M95). Have you heard of this one? It was an adventure learning to use it.
@DontSpeak Have I heard of it?
@DontSpeak I was born and raised to live off the land. I was taught how to hunt and fish, and make items out of the animal hides we hunted. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING went to waste. I come from 4 generations of TRACKERS. I was taught to track an animal down. Suppose I could track a man just as easily but I have never tried. But I do not take a life just to kill. I only kill what I eat and I eat what I kill. When my boys were growing up and I got them their first .22, one asked me: dad, can I shoot that pigeon. I told him you sure can. But, you will have to clean it and eat it afterwards. He decided against it. @jpadilla1967 That's wise instruction. Although I do not have a penchant for firearms, they are something I decided on after professional instruction (conscription) and a lot of deliberation. A weapon like this should never, ever be relied upon in verbal disputes, and all too often those with the weapons have no mental preparedness, fortitude and even less value for life. Watch the YouTube videos (if you haven't already) for how stupid people can be with them, just for starters. Pretty much everyone in the remote areas has something like this, although mine are a little more task specific due to the training I decided on. @DontSpeak The desire and will to kill comes from ones heart. Those who consistently look for trouble, will always find it creating the need for having to defend oneself. And when a person constantly finds them involved in such trouble, it makes no difference what they possess: gun, knife, stick, or bare fists, the end result will be the same, loss of life or serious injury. It's not the weapon that kills, it's the person wielding the weapon and their intent that causes the harm.

@Ennui-Inferno No problems in that department: being outside. I work in the office Thursday-Sunday, and on Mon, Tues,& Wed. I'm a builder. So I'm outside all day long from sun up to sunset. @jpadilla1967 hey that sounds better than most!
