Showed up on my doorstep as a kitten one day very traumatized, but now she follows me like a puppy dog. @jpadilla1967 similar situation, our mogs was from next door but she hated it there and moved in with us and now shes so spoilt |

AND THAT . . . IS THE ULTIMATE "MIC DROP"

@jpadilla1967 love it!
@jpadilla1967 In Finland, we have Conscription for all adult males. My brother taught me what he knew after he served, and I then volunteered for 165 days. To be honest, whilst I despise and do not endorse war, I think that making it something that helps to bond people (including people of all countries) is useful. There are leaders that will try to usurp all that is honourable, life affirming, and free, and will try to wipe out people they do not understand. Perhaps a unified effort would be best between friendly countries? At any rate, this is what Findland does.
@DontSpeak I understand exactly what you are saying. And I agree. I don't know anyone who enjoys war. In fact, having served myself and having lost many family members who fought in wars, the people who have actually been through it are the ones who despise it the most. There is no honor in taking a person's life or causing injury to another. Respect and honor is given to those who are willing to stand and protect those who are in need, in danger, or are not strong enough to defend themselves.
One day, my grandmother was washing my uniform and preparing me a wonderful meal. She said to me, "I am so proud of you Joseph for serving so bravely." I got up from my chair, gave her a big hug, and told her, "I am more grateful of you for taking the time to care for me."
@jpadilla1967 You should google the White Death aka Simo Häyhä from my country. He was ONE farmer. He hated war, but he is what Suomi is for my country. War should be abolished, and nearly has with the EU. For example (just one) France and Germany would regularly declare war on one another, since the EU, their relations has become so positive, that they are regularly invest in learning one another's culture and embracing this new found peace. There is a way, but with leaders that use war as a brokerage, and to create more [unnecessary] capitalism, it is a dead end. I do not trust the motto "live by the sword, die by the sword" this is already an epitaph, and a tragic one.
