I'm older now, but in my day, I was the lead singer in a few bands locally, but my biggest highlight was traveling with a band in Florida. One of our guitarists was a former musician for "Corneilius Brothers & Sister Rose," if you knew who that was. If that doesn't ring a bell, this song might. They made it famous in the 1970's. @ᚘ𝕺ƸᚰĦҜïᑻ⭍🌘 Actually, Robert Redford stole this one. He gave 110% to make this film a heart-wrentching and truer than true depiction. Mark Ruffalo truly deserves a huge nod as well. No offense to Gandolfini, but he played his tough-guy self, not a huge reach, but done exceptionally well. The movie is something that I have watched more than once, which is saying a lot. It is 20 years old and is still remarkable!
@DontSpeak Oh, I totally expected him to be a side role, but I love that about him. He was just a mob extra in movies hardly had speaking roles and than hit lead w/ Sopranos and handled it w/ such humbleness and sweet gratitude, he always did movies involved with things he respected but didn't need to be the lead. He really respected military so I can totally see why he tends to be in military or NY theme films after his fame. I'm excited! Thanks for info guys n gals!
