What's up with VOE all of a sudden? (580 views, 7 replies)
I noticed a while ago that the voe address isn't actually where you end up for the video feed. At first, I thought it was maybe something that they were doing to avoid the pages being flagged and taken down. Using a proxy, maybe, to mask the actual address. But with all the warnings, and the fact that the seemingly malicious popups always seem to beat popup and ad blockers for a while every month before the addon manages to catch up, makes it seem more like there's someone actually behind the whole thing. With possibly not good intentions.
Might be best to pay attention to the address you end up at and maybe just avoid it if it isn't going to the official site. Actually, I don't think I've seen a single link that says it's voe.sx -or whatever it is,- actually end up going to that site instead of redirecting to some subdomain in quite a while.
As an example, I just grabbed something random. The link said it was voe.sx/whatever... redirected to tubelessceliolymph.com.

Almost all of the hosts have an alternative server (which is why the address varies at times), but Voe seems to be going the way they all go eventually. Most hosts eventually run into the usual legal issues, so they close down, and this nonsense happens in the interim. .
They'll reform under another name most likely, but for now, I'm not going to post Voe anymore.
@DontSpeak it was my go to server and then on the weekend I was getting that warning therefore I won't be using it anymore as well
suddenly i got a triangle a red one saying your not private anymore...i see others have troubles too i say leave it alone for awhile atleast to be sure people stay safe...
Might be time to leave VOE out of 2moobz lineup entirely... JIC.
Don't need to stumble into (or attract) sketchiness and problems.
Danger Danger WIll Robinson!
IMHO the browser must correct it's warning message to something more appropriate or prevent redirection without a permission before. This "Your connection is not private" doesn't sound well to me. Makes panic to users. Firefox I use in Dosmovies sounds more accurate. But I am not a native speaker, so I can't be absolute.
"Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead
Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to tubelessceliolymph.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details..... "
Voe has corrected whatever was going on... for the time being.
I scanned it this morning, and all of the strangeness is gone, however, keep in mind that they are utilising several alternate servers that will not come up as Voe.sx.
