I'm not sure about other movie watchers but I don't mind reading subtitles & I don't mind dubbed movies either. There are so many good different Asian horror's out there right now and I couldn't find any of these here and also not a whole lot.
*These are some of them(a couple not horror) and most are a few yrs old or older, yes some are 2017 & 2018 and might not be easy to get yet smiley smiley If I knew how to get links and movies I would be happy to do it(If someone wants to teach me smiley ) *If anyone is willing to Help I would be very very Grateful Thxx a bunch! smiley

You can use the filters to limit search results.

Expand both filter options, choose Horror as your genre. Then select as many or as few countries as you'd like to be included in your search results. You can filter that even further by changing the year range of release.

Selecting just 4 Asian countries returned almost 500 results.

"You selected 492 movies of Horror genres and China,Japan,South Korea,Taiwan countries released between 1800 and 2018 years. Results are sorted by date in descending order."

@DemandingFemale THOSE "FILTERS"still thinkk Drama is PORNO--I'sd like REAL DRAMA MOVIES, not porno in Dramas' clothinfg,.I can't get either of those search machines on our site to get other than just what someone plopped on the site--no matter how many filters i run.

I suggest we find off-website search engines that do have real movie searches.Ever since Google dumped all free movies, none of the strongest search engines will deal--except DuckDuckGo.(HORROR is the easiest, most accessible search after "Drama-porno."Most of the movies online are horror---i didn't say "well-made horror".)

@ I forgot German and Russian. I guess I just find most non-English speaking horror, and films, to be interesting. Like you I don't mind subs and I also feel I gain a few words of the other language over time! :)

Great thread, especially for a movie/series site. I look forward to these types the most. I love foreign films in general but Asian horror is up there for top best. I wish they had more foreign films/series on two-movies and with working links. Maybe more posts like this will help get them added.

Thanks for sharing! smiley

@3UN01A Ya I love Asian horror and there are so many out there but most sites don't have that many compared to how many are out there, especially the last several yrs. I have a few Asian sites I go to but their limited on horror also. They need a Asian horror site with all the newest ones added too. There use to be one but it never got updated and many links started to be outdated, but I did get to see some of them there. Cheers! :)

@manditoe I often search for sites that are strictly horror from around the globe and have no problems finding them. I just can't tell you what they are on here or that would be spam for ban LOL they exist though I look forward to Mod- Horror and his uploads as he seems to post a lot of films I enjoy ;) Thanks for starting this thread and shedding some light on foreign films, I been trying to do that here but no bueno... now for everything foreign like series and such :) woooot!

@clarachan1355 dubbed or subbed, yes. Or just add the subs from a site the provides them. I would share the sites here but that is not allowed. If you know where to look or know the right person... everything is available - never "gone" ;)

There are some extraordinary foreign films, but many English speakers dislike subtitles. Personally I despise dubbed films as there is no possible way that a doofus dubbing in the lines can deliver them with any finesse.

One can easily find a subtitle file and then attach it to the mp4 file in a program like vlc player, but many may be ignorant of the process. Then again, subtitles often miss the nuances of the dialogue as they written by amateur fans.

One of the films I plan to review is a German vampire film (We are the Night) and the other is a Belgian pagan film (Left Bank). Both are excellent but little known films with exemplary actors, but in my opinion such films will get low scores out of irritation by viewers who loathe reading subtitles.

It seems like some terrific foreign films get plagued by one star ratings as soon as they are added despite the fact that they are well known outside of America. Other foreign films are highly formulaic and insipid, yet they get ridiculously high ratings. Thus there is little balance.
