Thrown To The Wind (394 views, 27 replies)
This is a historic moment. Simon posted something serious that doesnt involve misogyny, passing wind, buttplugs or the occasional peeing on an electric fence
I am impressed and somewhat disappointed. I was half expecting a video of people being thrown to a wind tunnel for fun or subjected to hurricane winds for likes
@Buttless I am ordinary mostly, I have a few hobbies and interests that are ordinary and common in many cultures.
I like country walks
Knitting for my friends and family
Making treats for the grand kids etc
I visit my Grandma regularly too.
See, all the sort of things normal ordinary people do.
@JudgeDredd The video was only a temporary lapse in judgment.
Watching Ocean Ramsey is more interesting, she knows we're not looking at the sharks or listening to her speak the first few times watching her videos, but she likes it..
@8====D "Misunderstood"? Enough with these stupid white shark nonsense. These people need stop lying for getting money and people stop watching their stupidity. And enough for stupid ppl getting bitten and eaten by swimming with sharks... They really make me spit and cuss on the telly and the news watching this....."Look Ma, I swam with a huge great white" if not they need the Oscar of stupidity
@18635fdgd You are looking at this the wrong way. Sharks have behavioral patterns much like any other animal on the planet. If you are aware of their movements and can interpret them for what they actually mean, you are relatively safe. Example, when a shark is circling around you thats is deemed to be a warning that you are invading its territory. If you dont make yourself scarce in a calm manner that will not be interpreted as a fish in distress (which equals food for them) you are gonna live to tell the story. If you dont or if you remain still, the shark eventually will come for a closer look and will bump you to determine if you are soft and edible or something that he should ignore. Thats why when that bump happens the experts suggest to either use a relatively hard surface like a fist for the first contact or if you are an expert use your palm to cover the snout which contains their receptors and effect a blackout for the shark. If you go for the snout the shark stops dead in its tracks and will sit there for as long as you have its receptors blocked. It goes without saying that the strongest triggers for an attack are pee, blood, metal, sudden movements, or if you are really unlucky, the shark is in heat or actually pregnant. And even if an attack occurs, that doesnt happen from the get go. The shark will always go for an exploratory bite, to test the merchandise so to speak. The problem with the big sharks is that their exploratory bite can cause so much damage that it can kill you on your way out to the beach. Instances where people are actually eaten are very rare.

@JudgeDredd Ok then, they can make a big jar from glass paying 50-200K each that has some hard spikes attached and dive to meet megalodon. If the jar explode they will offer in an ecological and environmental way themselves in smaller pieces, not smelling of urine and blood and we will have something interesting in the news to watch! Because megalodon exists and it's a shy and introvert creature. Totally misunderstood !
@18635fdgd Megalodon is as misunderstood as the T-Rex from Jurassic Park. Being in a fossilized state for the last 2.5 million years, would actually render him the safest shark to be around. But you would have to go to a museum of natural history to play with one
@JudgeDredd If aliens exist so must and Megalodon! I plan hunting it down. It's just that I need a lot of money for this!
@18635fdgd Chances are that if you actually find one, it will be a zombie megalodon. Good luck in trying to kill what has already been dead
@JudgeDredd hahaha thank you kindly for ur wishes but I am in touch with specialists that certify fully about the hidden secret of his existence! You just can't make me change my mind
@18635fdgd I dont want to change your mind. I just want to watch you hunt one. Of course who will be the hunter and who will be the prey is debatable, but it will provide a serious amount of entertainment
@JudgeDredd BTW I watched now an episode from "Η γη της Ελιάς". Do you watch it? Do you approve the action of Likourgos? I am with Dora in this. He is the lawyer. Somehow I get to watch a GR serial, pretty woke I'd say ahahhahhahhha
@18635fdgd My parents, my sister, my niece, pretty much everybody is watching this series....except me. I dont watch greek tv or greek movies. Having said that, I do make an exception here and there for something truly funny or something that breaks down social barriers. But that is something rare these days. The last greek movie I watched was "Ο οργασμος της αγελαδας" which at the time was the first movie that used greek profanities, separating itself from the school of philological profanities established by "Λαμψη". Going from "ανθρωπόμορφο τέρας", "Κτήνος", "πρόστυχη" to "παρτα μωρη χαμουρα" was a comic shock to the system.
Interestingly, I bumped into this article a few years ago that hypothesized how "Λαμψη" would have sounded if filmed these days. The dialogs are hilarious to say the least:

@JudgeDredd I started to watch when I had to stay indoors and care for parents. This one uses a lot of resources and the director/script maker is LGBT. He does a lot of teaching and uses the common and popular real world case scenario to induce dialectics to people that hate the LGBT. To be honest, can't really tell if I loved Mani after watching this. Lot's of ganslingering and vendetta around. Reminds somehow Dark Crete stories. Can't even tell if it's close to reality. I feel the plan is to sell abroad. It resembles Netflix as a product ahahhahhha. Hm, will make an attempt, thinking of it now, to hang it's tag in the site. Maybe using only the trailer as vid.
@18635fdgd Hmmmm no eng. subs, no trailer, I am losing my time, I can't hang a tag here

The wind industry says it isn't killing whales, but it is. New boat traffic is colliding with whales. And high-decibel sonar is separating whale mothers from their calves, sending them into harm's way. Our new documentary, which lays out the evidence, is now free to watch.
