What an incredible find! I had to look up multiple statistics to confirm what this is exactly. I have dearly loved TLOTR. It is a unique treasure and most assuredly should never be besmudged by any sole effort to "cash in" on its splendour (naturally money is always a motive, nevertheless)...
Apparently Amazon are in the threshold of One BILLION dollars to make this series. The directors (yes, multiple) are more difficult to ascertain.
