I think this type of forum information could be considered as "preaching to the converted" because it has the same Trump groupies appearing with their mutual backslapping and self-aggrandizing fantasies that their hero actually gives a damn about anyone but himself and his bank balance.
@fortunate1 I wouldn't complain and I think a sigh of relief would be heard from the North pole to the Antartic Research Stations.
From a European point of view he was a statesman and a fantastic speaker who has a great sense of humour. Unfortunately he did not have a majority to get things done - things that we take for granted on this side of the pond.
But it is not a case of Republician or Democrat.
I believe that Mr. Trump is a very good business man and his acumen in the world of real estate is second to none. However I don't think this is the quality of the leader of the free world. I don't think he has the political intellect nor the man/woman management skills to run the US. I believe that the American people have been let down. I think this was caused by a weak candidate who opposed him and some political naïvety on the part of the Democratic Party who didn't see where people were hurting.

@..box.. Money in my pocket again is what I see. My 401K has gained substantially. All my household utilities coming down some in pennies others in an actual buck or more. I see someone who can and will provide jobs to make us even stronger. We are always going to have the ones that rather sleep half the day away and stay up nights playing video games. They will always need a handout. He is making the handouts harder to get. Bottom line is, if you are healthy get off your butt and work is his message. Removing the dead weight(to lazy to work but healthy) from the welfare system every state has more money for the states needs. He has stopped this crap of raises for goverment employees everytime they decide to have one. Old diseases like tb and measles reigniting in the States because of the influx of illegals.We can't afford them and we don't have room for them in our cities either. ...

@fortunate1 Thank you for informing my views better. I see you have quite a few reasons to vote for him and if he is moving America in your direction, he is the right man for the job. I was surprised to hear that TB and measles are on the up - it is something to investigate further.
It doesn't seem that there is much mutual understanding between the main parties at the moment. Could it have anything to do with the White House resident? Probably not but who in such a divided country is willing and able to get them working together - I can't see anyone from either side risking political suicide trying that.
Again, thank you Trump Girl for making the effort in explaining. It makes for a pleasant conversation.

Interesting that the only thing you picked up on was the "language" issue. So there was nothing else in the novel you took offense to? That is a good sign (if you read it properly) or a bad sign (if you didn't)

You should really try to read the comments in full because if you don't you might miss the important stuff. My sense of humour might be a bit too refined for a drug related situation like the one you suggested was a joke but was in fact a (not so) subtle suggestion that I live in some sort of cardbox and I would wear some hand me down shoes from people stupid enough to lace them with drugs in order to trip me out.
And while I was tripped out I got what? my samsung laptop (because all the homeless need one) and I set up my wifi system in Denver (because I apparently live there now) and I log on to two-movies in order to have a debate with a Scottish Nationalist Trump supporter.
