I had my attention on the Total Eclipse so the Annular Eclipse caught me by surprise. I will be going, I wonder if any of you will?
Yes, I know only hardcore Eclipse freaks travel to another country to take the chance that the weather will even be good enough to see the eclipse in the first place, but there are always a few.
In 2017, in a tiny town in Wyoming, the sign said Population 120, I met a couple from Japan and a woman from Italy who had made the trip for the eclipse. The closest place to me with a maximum exposure time for the October eclipse is about 8 hours away. I will be in the sweet spot between Albuquerque and the tip of NE Arizona.
