Boardwalk Empire
Period drama based on the historical Enoch L. Johnson, a political figure who rises to prominence and controls Atlantic City, New Jersey, during the Prohibition period of the 1920s and 1930s.

Bosch
An L.A.P.D. homicide detective works to solve the murder of a thirteen-year-old boy while standing trial in federal court for the murder of a serial killer.

Loose ly based on the comic book series Preacher created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, and published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint.

Rectify - One of the Best of the Best.
Exploring the life of a man after he is released from prison after nearly 20 years on death row following a wrongful conviction.

Whitechapel
A fast-tracked inspector, a hardened detective sergeant, and an expert in historical homicides investigate modern crimes with connections to the past in the Whitechapel district of London.

A funny and emotional look at a grieving American family...that just happens to be in the grief management business.

Nathaniel Fisher, his wife Ruth, and their children David and Claire run a small funeral business that offers the best care to be found anywhere close by. Prodigal son Nate Jr. arrives home for Christmas just as his father is killed by a bus, and has to stick around when he and David are willed the funeral service together. How does a family who helps others deal with grief deal with its own?

The first of his series of Dexter novels, Darkly Dreaming Dexter, was the base for the first season of the show.

Currently enjoying "Sneaky Pete" starring Giovanni Ribisi, I only found it recently and it's pretty good.

Like any good protagonist he has problems with authority, follows his gut and bends a few rules while achieving the best solved case rate in all of California. "Russian Doll" dosmovies.com/watch_tv_show/Russian_Doll.... A young woman in New York tries to escape from a party that's being thrown in her honor.

Netflix does it again with yet another comedy. I usually don't watch comedy's but lately Netflix has been releasing some great series like "Sex education" with Gillian Anderson from "X Files" now this "Russian Dolls starring my favourite character Natasha Lyonne from "Orange is the New Black" (also known for other films) and she rocks this show. It's pure genius and has dark comedy which is more my style to boot. It was so refreshing to view this new show and I plan to re-watch it with my hubby. Netflix definitely has me watching more comedy then ever before - I may have just converted and walked out the dark side. smiley My preferences are usually horror, thrillers, crime and all things dark and twisted but this kept me fully entertained and laughing. Great cast, great story and highly recommended. 5/5 stars!!

If you're a fan of "Sons of Anarchy" or the newer spin-off and "Animal Kingdom", check out the above "Outsiders" I think it's an underrated gem in this genre.

"Deadly Class" (2019) dosmovies.com/watch_tv_show/Deadly_Class.... Set in a dark, comic book world against the backdrop of late '80s counterculture, Deadly Class follows a homeless teen recruited into a storied elite private school where the world's top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques and his own adolescent uncertainties soon proves to be vital.

This has become one of my all time favourites - it's so well done. I especially enjoyed the acid trip episode that was a like something from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I highly recommend giving this a watch and before giving up on it, try the first few episodes. An original series that is different in a good way for any fan of this type show - it does not disappoint. Pure creativity, action packed and overall will keep you entertained as films are to do.
