While I do not have children, I have plenty of experience fielding awkward questions from little ones, so I feel your pain RandomOne. And while also not a prude, I will confess I was still a little bemused to see that title keep popping up. (It must be quite popular.) Being able to hide more things on the right hand side of the page would be awesome, simply because I like things less cluttered. And to be honest, I don't really care what other people are watching. I am certain they don't care what I am watching. If they do care they are welcome to visit my profile and check out my to watchlist or favorite list. In fact, while I try to not read the comments I will admit that if I am looking for something new (or old), the comments found farther down on the home page are more helpful to me than a list of titles in a box.
I would even like to suggest that there be some sort of user preference setting added to your profile to always hide certain things, that way as soon as I sign in, boom, it goes buh-bye. (Unless that is already an option and I am not looking in the correct spot, in which case someone please feel free to take me by the paw and educate my luddite self. I won't even mind if you point and laugh first.)

If you have Adblocker pro you can block it yourself - as you can on a lot of sites, for instance I use it on FB to get rid of all 'suggestions' that appear at the side.
I've just tested it here - and it does work - see below, all sidebar sections gone between chat box and series updates.

I still think having the option in your profile settings to hide/show things would be the cats pyjamas.

thank you, guys,I get so irritated on searching movies,and i get SO MUCH PORNO OR SOFT-PORN I wondered if that was always the main draw of this site.I would REALLY like to not see the real porno.
My "porno"is completely different, like "The Beach"with LEO, MILLIONS OF TIMES. Leo(sigh)I like him at all ages,sigh.--and "That Fantastic Mr.. Ripley."(I cut off the bad ending)because its a "tour"of old Italy. sigh.and I sympathize with poor Ripley.(could you imagine being poor and gay in the 50's?__I was there,being poor during the 50's, its not fun!!_)
so my porno would be movies with great adventure,old stuff,beautiful tropical,gorgeous old Europe,and the 60s and 70's stuff.Science fiction,especially the old.Our "filters"never cut out the porno,if I include "drama."

So the noisy little freeloader who lives in my house has just been standing over my shoulder incessantly speed talking for the past 15 minutes when she suddenly took a breath and asked what "big tidded lesbinems" are, when my ears stopped wringing I asked where she'd heard that and she pointed to my screen or more exactly the "visitors watching now" section... any chance we could have the option to hide that box please.
