The title really sounds like an auction of children - I have a couple for sale (only joking just in case ... you can never be too careful nowadays)
In answer to your question I have 3 and we are a happy socialist family. I supppose that would put us close to the Democrats in American speak. That might put a spanner in your theory though - sorry.

It's all perspective and truly stereotypes that veer very sharply into prejudices because they aren't based on anything resembling facts (from a purely clinical level).

Regarding the original question, I have three children; eight grandc hildren to date and one great great grandchild so far. I consider myself a Libertarian and Patriot which these days seems to brand me as some sort of far right, nazi, fascist ...... ad infinitum .
@saxon901 I think here in Europe and especially mainland Europe, there is still a strong sense of worker's rights and the right are the factory owners and the wealthy. Unfortunately, as the moderate right move towards the centre, the ultra-right are trying to highjack the vacuum that is left on the extreme conservatives by fearmongering with the threat of immigration into the EU. The ultras are becoming stronger in Italy, Britain (where the Brexit was considered a win for the ultra nationalists) and even in Spain, there are signs that although the Socialist are in power as a minority government, their days are numbered as they depend on independents and the right-wing opposition have a majority although are tarnished by the brush of corruption. Plenty of "labels" to be going on there and if you mix in the question of Catalonia and the Basque Country (two of the main financial power houses in the country) then we have a pot pourri to beat the band. ...

@---BOX--- We who are clinging to the Centre by our fingernails and can only keep our heads down while the PTBs thrash it out. At present the voice of reason can't be heard above the din. Sometimes the opposition has to take a stronger stand, temporarily, in order to stop the steam roller so that wiser and more reasonable heads can ultimately prevail. That's my hope.

Think about this since everyone thinks everything is so damned important now a days. The Greatest achievements humans ever made that we even know of have all been entirely stupid. what's the greatest thing people ever invented the internet right? it's nearly mentally challenged (the internet that is). so what does that say about humans. natural law is the only true way. nothing is right. nothing is wrong.

I have 2 children .I raised them all by myself .Not all men out there are dead beat dads .I'm not and there are some dead beat mothers out there to .I feel that killing a unborn child is not right ,but that's me .I wanted children to love and share my life with them and show them love that I never got as a child . I feel having children in the home is a blessing from God .
@gregsohappy I agree Greg... About your interenet..if you lose it...is there a library, or internet hub somewhere you could use every once in a while, to let us know how you are? I hate to see you go.

i DID NOT WANT TO GET MARRIED,TO ANY OF MY CHOICES,SO NO WAY WAS i GONNA HAVE KIDS.I liked working,i was not a "stay at home mom"sucking back vodka or gin,to kill the boredom.I hate housework.then,and now.I guess I liked living like a "single man."If i was not making a ton of money,or married very rich, no kids dampened my door.
You do realize, kids are a full time job??I already had one.--one was enough.now that there are too many people in the world,killing it,I really did the right thing--I wish more people would be responsible with their GENES.MY COUSIN had plenty of kids.--I sure don't have to.

You know where i used to live. Kids are f**king bad. they will rob you. i had some throw firecrackers at me while i was working, they would break into our cars and steal things, they would come around like little crackheads and try to bum stuff off of me. Kids aren't good just cuz they're kids. sh*tty people have sh*tty kids. do we really need more sh*tty people. I was raised by a republican family and all but exiled because of being born a bastard. so what's that say about your theory about repubs being the only respectable people in the world there bondojoe? If you have kids and you treat them well good for you. but when you see the kid that was raised wrong you better tell YOUR kids to stay away from them. there's no pity for the damned.
@El_Bart0420 I have to say I have seen some pretty bad kids, disrespectful, mouthy, running wild doing what ever they want.Kids have no respect for Police Officers, If it was not for them We couldn't walk down the street at night or even be safe in out own homes..
Your right sh*tty people have sh*tty kids but it's the Parents responsibility to raise them proper, But many don't. They sit them in front of bad cartoons like The Simpsons while they are very young and they learn bad habits from T.V especially the last 10-15 yrs as the kids shows have gotten even worse. I Would Not let my son watch the Simpsons or any show like it till he was about 11 or 12(I can't remember)Till he was over 7 he watched all Nature/animal Document. or animal teaching shows Poka roo, Sesame street (is that even on anymore) He is now 30 yrs old and married. I raised my son myself as well, I had him at close to 26 yrs old and would not change having him for nothing, it was the best thing that ever happened to me.. The kids on the show Simpsons are mouthy and disrespectful to their parents and elders. Also Parents don't talk to their kids enough it's so Important, talk to them about everything while they are young so it stick's. They are like sponges and absorb everything including bad so remember that..lol..

I have never had any inclination to have any myself. Both my brothers do, so that's heaps for our genetic line.

Should you have children? is a great question.
Just because people can have children, does not always mean they should.
There's a lot of terrible parents out there. It takes a special person to be a good mother or father. The rest just should not reproduce.

Dear Abby did a huge survey of many people including many parents; the majority of the parents said"if we had known what to expect,we would not have had kids."kids are a full time hard job.many people were told"children are wonderful!!"no one said the former"they are a huge job".--the huge job dismayed many parents.they,plenty of them ,were sorry they did it.people lost their kids in divorces, or foster care too if they had no money for them.--or they decided to IGNORE THE JOB--NOT DO IT.
we saw a ton of American parents now like that.--and broke people who could not care for themselves, let alone kids.So if you are not up to it,i would skip kids,ask the PRESENT DEAR ABBY.ASK A GOOD DOCTOR WHO KNOWS MUCH ABOUT KIDS.--you need the straight poop,not idealizations of "wonderful families."but most people HATE REALITY, it is not nice.i hate it myself.

If you have children, what is your political persuasion? If you are single, which party do you lean towards? It's a fact tha people with children favor the Republican party. Why is that? Republicans are ADAMANTLY opposed to abortion. Liberals like to suggest that Republicans only like children until they are born, then abandon them. LOL! When children are born, their PARENTS are supposed to support them...not the rest of us. The law says so. Plenty of men are serving time due to non paymenmt of child support. Everyone can find a job now. There are more jobs than people to fill them. In cases of ill health, there are safety nets that NO ONE has suggested be removed. So tell us..why you have children...or why you don't. I'm betting more Liberals DON'T have children...and will say it's because they don't want to bring children into this world. A world that they are helping to shape. I think Liberals are too SELFISH to have children. They have no time, or compassion to raise a child. ...
