🔹ᕼYᑭᕮᖇ ᖇᕮᗩᒪISTIᑕ ᑭᗩIᑎTIᑎGS ᖴᖇOᗰ ᑎᗩTᕼᗩᑎ ᗯᗩᒪSᕼ
English based artist Nathan Walsh has painted these incredible photographic-looking masterpieces that are actually carefully hand-drawn. Great urban-landscapes like New York, Paris and London are constructed in such detail that on first glance they are convincing.........*Nathan Walsh a realist painter who lives and works in York, England

Nathan says each painting takes between three to five months to complete and are so labour intensive they require a full time commitment.

This is a hybrid approach to drawing, the goal being to create space that is convincing and concrete.

@manditoe Oh god I can't watch these. It just breaks my heart into tiny little bits of ash. But I highly recommend to those who buy factory farmed meat to watch just one that shows the inhumane situation. It's appalling. I only buy free range anything. It's actually so gross, the chicken in the stores is a grey yellow sickly color, that is not what chicken is supposed to look like. If you want to see what real healthy natural chicken is supposed to look like, watch any of the Vietnamese cooking you tube videos. It's bright pink and healthy. Every time I pass the chicken isle I want to vomit. It's NOT good for us.

@sunshinedaydreams I know but it was not bad like other real videos they tried to make it not too shocking, they mostly talked after the singing. They did well with it But I would have Shocked them to wake people up!
Here is something great, it's a fav. animal trainer and a person who saves and works with animals!

@manditoe I went ahead and watched anyway, and your right it was easier to watch than most. Still hurts to see it, even with the singing, and escape. :)

💚 ᒪIᖴᕮ ᒪᕮSSOᑎS ᗩᑎᗪ IᑎSᑭIᖇᗩTIOᑎᗩᒪ STOᖇIᕮS! .................✰ "TᕼᗩT ᒪITTᒪᕮ GIᖇᒪ"

ᗩ Tᖇᑌᕮ STOᖇYHave you ever not wanted to do something so badly that you would rather die than go? Well that’s how I felt about joining Madcaps and volunteering at Saint Vincent De Paul Homeless shelter. But now I believe that you should have an open mind to things because in the end you might just end up enjoying it.“It’s a waste of time”, I said when my mom told I had to join Madcaps, a mothers and daughters club assisting philanthropies, and then when she told me I had to volunteer at a homeless shelter I thought this just could not get worse. We got there late, of course, and walked to the dirty homeless shelter, where we saw a lady yelling at the security guard. He dealt with her and then lead us to the kitchen where we ran into my five fellow Madcaps class of 2017 mothers and daughters. Since I’m usually so socially awkward I had met only one person at the pool party, earlier this year. I looked around for her but she was not there. Damn, I was alone! When the head of the kitchen came out and asked for 3 mothers to work outside the kitchen to clean up the plates and silverware, my mom just so happened to volunteer, leaving me to serve food with people I had never met before.Soon the homeless families started to walk in and a little girl, around 5 years old, walked up and pointed to the food I was handing out. I handed her the cold sandwich, wrapped in the sticky plastic, she nodded in a form of saying thanks, and then walked to join her family at the large table. As she walked away I thought of how much I had. I get to go to one of the top schools in San Diego, I have a great house by the water, and I have a warm meal every night. Then I thought of how little she had. She probably didn’t go to school, and this is where she sleeps and eats every day. It took that little girl to make me realize just how lucky I am.After that moment I had a change of heart. Now, I love Madcaps and don’t miss one meeting, I have gotten over being socially awkward and now have many friends, who I hang out with on a regular basis. And this year I am sure I will do more than the required 20 hours of philanthropies.

Just wanted to share...
Playing For Change was born in 2002 as a shared vision between co-founders, Mark Johnson and Whitney Kroenke, to hit the streets of America with a mobile recording studio and cameras in search of inspiration and the heartbeat of the people. Producers Johnson and Enzo Buono traveled around the world to places including New Orleans, Barcelona, South Africa, India, Nepal, the Middle East and Ireland. Using mobile recording equipment, the duo recorded local musicians performing the same song, interpreted in their own style. Among the artists participating or openly involved in the project are Vusi Mahlasela, Louis Mhlanga, Clarence Bekker, David Guido Pietroni, Tal Ben Ari (Tula), Bono, Keb' Mo', David Broza, Manu Chao, Grandpa Elliott, Keith Richards, Toots Hibbert from Toots & the Maytals, Taj Mahal and Stephen Marley. This resulted in the award-winning documentary A Cinematic Discovery of Street Musicians.

In 2005, Mark Johnson was walking in Santa Monica, California, when he heard the voice of Roger Ridley (now deceased) singing "Stand By Me." [1] Roger had so much soul and conviction in his voice, and Mark approached him about performing "Stand By Me" as a Song Around The World. Roger agreed, and when Mark returned with recording equipment and cameras he asked Roger, "With a voice like yours, why are you singing on the streets?" Roger replied, "Man I’m in the Joy business, I come out to be with the people." Ever since that day, the Playing For Change crew has traveled the world recording and filming musicians, creating Songs Around The World, and building a global family.

So, sometimes nature has a sense of humor. That’s why this video of scientists laughing at a googly-eyed stubby squid is so incredible. You’d assume that these professionals have seen it all, but this funny looking sea creature definitely took them a little off guard.

The scientists were aboard the vehicle E/V Nautilus when the video was taken last year, getting an amazing view of the ocean floor. While they have a hard time identifying the creature at first, they settle on it being a cuttlefish due to the way its tentacles appear. Later, off-camera, it was revealed to be a stubby squid, which is very closely related to the cuttlefish.

As Theo and Celeste play a game of ‘would you still be my friend if’ to test their new friendship, their hypothetical questions become reality, forcing them to confront their deepest fears and strongest yearnings....A blend of stop-motion puppets and live action,.

Theo & Celeste is a mixture of stop motion and live action, it was made with a minimal budget on a miniature set with puppets and hand painted backdrops. The live action featured hand painted humans to replicate the visual style and environment that the puppets live in. The film was designed to look like a two dimensional painting in a three dimensional world.
