Does anyone else have an issue receiving messages from hackers stating that they're recording or have recorded you doing yourself so to speak? They're threatening you that they'll send a copy of this to all your contacts if you don't pay them. They also have your password...It could be some version of this. Idk what to do about this anymore...I keep getting these & it's scary!! I mean what if they get into my bank...I'm disabled due to kidney cancer & don't have a single extra cent each month!! Any advice would be helpful!! :)
@chastitylea Reach out to the FBI and they can investigate it for you if you can provide them enough documentation.
@Penelope416 I have 5 of the emails right now. I have Internet Security that's supposed to prevent this, so I don't get it. & I know for a fact they don't actually have recordings of me doing anything b/c my camera is completely blacked out, but I'm concerned about the malware/viruses they've been depositing in my system. I'm trying one more thing & I hope it works, b/c I love this site & if I needed to involve FBI/Police...I'm sure they would end my favorite website. I've been a member since 2012...the hackers should respect their elders!! Lol!! Thanks for the response...I really appreciate the advice!!
@chastitylea I'm sorry. I misread what you previously stated. Well if the hackers are coming to this site, then try reporting it to admin and see what they can do.
Also ask the hacker to show you a video proof of them recording you. I think they're just playing games and want to manipulate you.
How do you know for sure they have any of your information? They could just be desperate for cash.
SEND THIS TO ADMIN.
@Penelope416 I still want to see if the last thing I tried has stopped it. I have spoken to Admin in the past. I don't really want to piss off anyone who can destroy my computer with viruses/malware. I am disabled & am basically a shut in after fighting cancer for years. I live online & I can't afford to replace my laptop b/c of this crap. If you know what I mean
