About me:
Computer & Electronics Engineer. One hobby is building networked Home Theater systems. Have built & tested numerous styles of media systems. Primary system is a custom built Micro-ITX / Windows based, mini-PC. Using about 20 TB of fixed storage with 32 Mb/s Internet stream. Kodi & Real-Debrid. Flexible design: small(ish) but large enough for 3 internal drives & a Blu-ray burner. Runs cool & quiet. eSATA & USB 3.0 for external drives. Tinker with Raspberry-Pi (Linux) & Android boxes. BTW: Recently switched from Win 7 Ultimate to Win 10. Personally NOT impressed. Win 7 was (much) more stable AND faster. Seems this may be Microsoft's attempt to catch up with Google's method of highly integrating their entire platform. IMHO: Microsoft has already lost THAT game & are just making it more difficult for those of use who do more than just "swipe" on small portables. Anyone else see the same poor performance?
